Posted a month agoHello! Just wanted to say I will NOT be opening commissions for October. I have past forms I would really like to try to get to!
I will however have a YCH up for next month, and my Halloween icons! I will open a few of those! So watch out!
In other news, starting January of 2026, I will be increasing my prices.
In short, not only because since its been a couple years, but I now have some health issues regarding my shoulder/neck and back. After getting checked out I have found that the structure of my neck is extremely straight, rather than a slight inward curve. Arthritis in my neck, shoulder and wrist, and impingement around all of my shoulder blade/rotator cuff. Some days the pain is unbearable. It is becoming harder to work longer, but perhaps I needed a wake up call to be easier on myself and to correct POSTURE!!!
Im now doing PT stretches at home to hopefully correct my neck and strengthen my upper body muscles, and will be saving up for changes to my desk space to establish better habits.
I really appreciate you all understanding. Always hate to raise pricing but with how the world is going and my personal hurdles, its the next move.

Posted 5 months agoSooo I had some friends drag Miza and I into this VR convention that I had only heard about maybe last year or so. Miza has the VR, and I barely use it myself let alone VR chat. Neither of us are really into it, but my first experience actually seeing my friends move and talk as if they were right in front of me was a very odd feeling. xD
Anyway, I didnt experience a ton, though the galleries and such I thought were so cool! Of course the con is over now, but this makes me really interested into getting my own art booth there to advertise. Or maybe do a meet and greet in some instances to meet some of you all? Do people even do that?? As if its a real convention?
Just curious if anyone has participated in this VR convention, or wanted to. What do you do mainly when you go? Any ideas on what I could do for next year or is anyone even interested?

Back from JAPAN [Comm info]
Posted a year agoFinally back! After a 10 day trip and being home already for nearly a week, I finally am back on my sleeping schedule and ready for work!
Japan was incredible, reminded me a lot of Mexico in some ways but also it was TOTALLY different haha. City life I am just not use to at all. I don't think I could have consumed more of Japan on those 10 days and a 14 hour time difference really hits ya. We went to Osaka, Kyoto, Shirakawa go, Takayama, Kanazawa, and Tokyo. Got to experience a tea ceremony, a proper Zen meditation, visited a ton of temples and ate all sorts of food! Everyone was just so nice and polite it was a very lovely vibe. I've learned so much about the culture, good and bad. Overall the trip has really encouraged me to pick up some new habits and new ideas for food I could make! The Shrines were wonderful and I also got to see the Shibuya crosswalk! Rode the Shinkansen (bullet train), visited Akihabara (electric town) and much more. Remember I was with a tour group so our days were pretty much planned but we had evenings of free time.
In one of those days in Tokyo, Miza and I managed to visit the Monster Hunter event that was displaying the life size statue of Siekret! Seeing it in person was awesome <3
However NEVER will I EVER go in summer again. FUCK that it was so hot I was dizzy half the time ;v;
I dont think I fully grasped that I was in Japan, somewhere Ive dreamed of going since I was like 13 haha even when I was THERE and after I am home none of it really seems real. Crazy how huge the world is and it really is beautiful.
As some of you may remember, 6 months ago I came back from visiting Mexico, and I felt very down about getting back to work due to bad experiences with the fandom a year ago. The thoughts are still there, to be honest there's probably not a day that goes by its not lingering in the back of my head and even moreso when I look at my own profile. Maybe it helps that I have work to do that I didnt finish before leaving, but I feel better about coming back despite it all.
Miza and I will definitely go back on our own someday. It was too special to be a one and done.
COMMISSIONS

Posted a year agoHello! Been a while since a life update!
Going to try to make this short, but my partner Miza and I will be going to a trip to Japan later this month! I know crazy! I got a lucky break with my high school art teacher and its more like a tour group thing, not just us. I thought it would be a good way to consume as much as Japan has to offer and be guided. Then the next time (if we ever can) we know what places to visit again or try! Going to about 5 different cities!
Ill try to post small updates through patreon but its gonna be a blast!
That said though, its going to be about a 10 day trip, with rest days afterwards so I will not have time to open commissions as I normally do. I think this month I will auction a song commission and OPEN my form, but not choose or take any new work so I can catch up on backlog.
For patreon, I think instead of doing a monthly artwork I will put my time and such into stickers, emotes, and more into finally setting upโฆ my DISCORD!
Yep, gonna try to have it up in a couple weeks or sooner! Still some stuff I want set up but Im working on it! From then on I will be posting most if not everything on my Patreon server. It will be available to my Planet tier and upward. Potentially I may open it for the tip jar $1 tier, but only have the โcommunityโ channels available to them. That will come later if at all, just want to throw the idea around. Discord offers easier posting, easier chatting and I think better organization!
Some stuff you guys can expect is all existing tier rewards, but more community! Ill respond so much easier over there, wanna share recipes, drinks, even art feedback from me and others in a lil workshop! Most likely ill stream often as well and Iโm just super excited to get invested in this!
Lastly with all the issues with Patreon rn with nsfw, Im considering making a subscribe star to also connect to my discord server. Everything will be posted there in the hub, but have patreon and SS be available as payment to get into said server. Just gotta put in the time to do this, but think it may be a smart move so im not left with my pants down if patreon just cuts me off.

I am very sorry to inform everyone that I cannot take new commissions in the month of April ;v; I just have gotten so behind and I think it would be irresponsible to take on more work. Going to be a busy month with my birthday and a mini trip to see full totality of the eclipse!
That said I do have a plan for a couple auctions perhaps. Maybe a YCH and another song commission! We will see!
I will plan to resume opening next month! Apologies if you were looking forward to submitting ;v; I just do not want to get too behind.

Back from MEXICO! Comm updates, Prices
Posted 2 years ago Helloooo! You read right, I am back! Apologies for not updating with a journal during our trip, we just got so busy and writing an update felt tiring at the time. Also PostyBirb was suppose to be active and posting for you guys but my computer was off so nothing posted! We are back though! The trip couldnโt have gone smoother tbh. As far as I can tell, we didnโt lose anything, and no issues with our flight or bus trip. A few hiccups here and there but nothing that ruined our experience.
There were a TON of first times for me! I cant even list all of them. Iโve only been to the states surrounding Missouri, never took a plane anywhere or really saw much outside of my town. Flying in a plane is AWESOME. I actually kind of got emotional taking flight ahh.
I saw the ocean for the FIRST time! I know the ocean is salty, but actually tasting it for the first time was a CRAZY feeling for some reason xD. I was so shocked! I am use to fresh water and lakes only! When you look in the distance and all there is to see is ocean, even that is an incredible sight. Seeing it in person is something else.
I met some new family on Mizaโs side that made me feel very welcome, despite looking like a walking highlighter. I have very long red/blonde hair with pale skin and blue eyes. So yeah, I stuck out haha. I ate all kinds of new food and SO ashamed that it is hard to get that now back in the US. Definitely added new recipes to my dinners! I learned a bit of Spanish and I was surprised that I could follow along in a conversation as well as I did! Couldnโt speak it very well but understood more than I thought. Miza of course was my translator and being without him for any second, I prayed no one would speak to me haha. I plan to be much better by next year!
We both took a ton of pictures and videos and I HOPE to actually make a small video stitching them together for you to see! Thatโs if I still have the motivation to do so.
We really missed our cats and turtle at home, however there definitely is an empty feeling after coming home. I have to get use to just existing as I did before leaving. This trip has taught me however, I really need to manage my time better and go out to have mini adventures around here until we go back <3 I had no idea how much I needed this break. I think it really helped both of us.

Since this month is already 1/3 over, I think I will be messaging people from PAST forms if they are interested in a drawing this month.
New year, new prices.
The plan is, starting February, I will have a new price sheet. Iโve kept at these rates for almost 2 years and since demand is still high (thanks to you and all your support ;v; <3) I think its time to raise them a tad to keep up.
That being said though I plan to add more commission options! Stickers have been something many of you have asked for and until I can get some of my own examples made up, ill see if I can add them as an option!

Life Update/Commission NEWS
Posted 2 years agoGreetings yaโll! Got some updates for you! Been such a long time since I updated on life but I still want to make this short.
Miza and I will be going to Mexico the last half of December! I will be meeting his family for the first time as well as flying on a plane! I have not traveled much in my time yet, but Iโm very excited for the adventure that follows!
That being said, commissions will NOT be opening as usually in December. I will see if I get this months batch finished! If not, I will just be working on backlog and try to get everything done before I leave. If I am caught up, at most I will only be doing stream sketch commissions up until our departure! So I will keep you updated!
Things have been stressful recently, unrelated to this and lots of ups and downs, but I am really excited for this trip and I think it will be a wonderful break from everything as well as going to a whole different country with all kinds of new things I am not use to! Gotta work on my Spanish xD

Id like to add on that last note, I have no issue with characters that are based off of real animals! I just don't feel totally comfortable with drawing them myself ^^

If you missed out, remember it doesn't always mean I wasn't fond of your idea! There were so many more peeps submitting than usual! I will def come back to these ideas in the coming months, they were all so wonderful <3 Not enough time to take them all x.x

If you missed out, remember it doesn't always mean I wasn't fond of your idea! There were so many more peeps submitting than usual! I will def come back to these ideas in the coming months, they were all so wonderful <3 Not enough time to take them all x.x
