long ago i made this account under the name Msako, and furs have come to know me as Msako. im not Msako, i am Drift Tide. Msako is a female character of mine. i am a male dragon orca hybrid. and in real life i am a real Texas cowboy.

so its about time that i finally fix this. i want to be known by my Fursona name and not by my female character.

So Tomorrow night me and a few other San Antonio furs will be doing a drunken fursuiting livestream. tomorrow night Wednesday March 13/13. Starting at 8pm central time. so keep an eye out for a second journal telling where you can watch it at.

the participants of this most likely silly livestream. will be the famous  schecter the lovable  xmusex our host and the ever awesome and amazing  Yoruzutto and her awesome mate  hominyjibjib

there will be an exciting and wild game of butt darts. (if you dont know what that is... then watch to find out... it will be funny)

and plenty of other funny games. and lets not forget you our watchers... we value your input too. you too can participate. we will be watching the livestream comments and we want to hear your ideas too.

and of course i cannot forget to mention there will be a strip tease dance off come watch me and schecter compete as we go all the way down to our fur...

i have made it back from my second con alive! so all of you betting against me you had better pay up...

na i had an awesome time. this was the best con i have been to so far. i got to hang out with my good friends. and room with them.  yoruzutto  hominyjibjib  schecter  fuzibuni  noilez our room was full of fursuits. i think there was 8 fur suits in our room total.

i also got to see many of my friends and hung out with them a lot.  xmusex  fangthewolf  Iden  xtremecat  kou_wolffe  strawberrywolf  mellotrauma  randomizer9  Padunk  swift_james  doompuppy and many many more. (if i left you off the list, its because you didnt shower at the con... and i just saw way to many of my friends to list them all.)

and of course i made lots of new friends. here is a shout out to all of my new friends... thanks for not watching me. :P na just joking.

i also bought artz lots of artz please go check out these few artists they are awesome! some are my friends and some just blew me away with their art.  taillone  QWERTYDragon  thatstripedcat  padunk and i will list more as i get my commissions in.

well i had a ball suiting i was in Ruger my German Shepherd full fursuit. i got to meet and hang out with so many fursuiters. and i of course won all the fursuting games. and because Ruger is named after a gun. i passed out water guns to every one. (sorry hotel staff)

on another note i will be making Ruger his own page on FA.

i rode a train with yoru and snooks all the way up there and back. and the entire way back me and yoru were brainstorming how to make a Drift Tide suit. running around as ruger is fun but being me would be even better.

well i got drunk for the very first time... and you know what happens when i get drunk... i get loud even goofier and then i pass out and sleep all night long and miss out on the party... go figure. next time one or 2 drinks... no more emptying the bar for me.

and of course there was an awesome room party in our room. the details are classified. if you dont know them... you never will.

i am so looking forward to next year. and until then i hope all my fuzzy friends stay safe!

so my laptop is working... well more or less lets just say its limping along on crutches. but it works and im decided im not going to spend the money for a new one just yet.

well on a lighter note.., i got to help set up, and had fun at a local furmeet. it was  yoruzutto and  hominyjibjib denwarming meet. we all had a ball. we even painted their white pony to look like Princess Molestia

i also went to San Japan this weekend. (an anime con) and i thought furries were crazy. :P
well i ran into a bunch of new furries and saw so great fursuits... well that all led to me making some new friends. the night ended with me giving a large group of furries a carriage ride around down town san antonio.

also i am sure many of my watchers have noticed im starting to post a lot of art... well i had a little bit of an abundance of cash, so i decided to spend it on some commissions. so expect to see some more pieces of Msako, Drift, and Delta.

and on my last note... im thinking about getting me a fursuit... not sure yet at the moment. but i know i dont have THAT much expendable cast to have my own custom one made, but i might pick up an affordable suit to go fursuiting in.

on and the barrel of fish was a scam... sorry fish lovers... i ate all of the fish. ^.=.^

well my 5 year old laptop had kicked the bucket... and until i can get fixed, ill be on the internet when ever i can... thank you  yoruzutto and  hominyjibjib for letting me use your computers and internet.

hopefully i will have this problem fixed quickly. ill still keep an eye on my page with my phone. but we all know how much trouble that is.

(((Ok about me.
I am a male and straight, I am a 22 year old. I am in all honesty a genuine cowboy from Texas. I grew up in east Texas, but right now I am living in san Antonio. I grew up on a horse ranch and have been cowboying all of my life. When I first got into the fandom I made my fursona a female as a way to protect my identity. Who would connect a female beach loving dragon with a Texas cowboy? No one in real life knows I am a furry. And I plan to keep it that way. And what got me into the fandom was my fascination with transformation, to become something you’re not. Not only do I cowboy, but I also leather craft, that’s where my true artist skill lies.

About msako:
Msako Hadithi is “hunting dragon” in Swahili she is a feral dragon-killer whale hybrid. Msako was originally a marine biologist before she was shipwrecked, and was transformed by a dragon to become the ultimate survivor of the sea. She spends a lot of my time at the beach but she also does love to travel. I guess since she was transformed, she is now fascinated with transformation too, and her main magical talents is the power of transformation.

Msako will no longer be my main fursona, but rather one of my characters

My New fursona:
My fursona is now a male feral dragon-killer whale hybrid. His name is Drift Tide. An oceanographer he stumbled upon msako by accident and at one point msako even saved his life. They quickly became good friends. And one day msako offered him the opportunity to become like her, so he agreed. To this day they travel the world’s oceans exploring and discovering new things. And of course he always seems to find himself in some sort of trouble.

Other characters
Im also introducing another character, her name is Delta Windshear. She is a dragon and an A10 Thunderbolt hybrid, also known as the A10 warthog. A former air force pilot, she was transformed by Msako after becoming good friends with her. Now she is one of the fastest flying dragons in the world.


Oh and I know someone is going to ask… I’m sorry I can’t draw. So you would probably live a longer and healthier life if I don’t draw anything for you… the exposure of my drawings to a person is hazards to one’s health. Also second hand exposure to my drawings can also have long term effects… you have been warned. :P

As far as my leather crafting goes… um im not sure is I will take commissions yet. I think I need to do more work and practice before I start selling… now… if you don’t mind waiting for a while, I might be willing to do a trade. *NOTE* leather is expensive, and there is no backspace or undo button. So any trade I do must be well worth it. )))

so as you might have read i have moved to san antonio... its new for me. but i am meeting many new and cool furs down here, also i am enjoying my new job. and i am making enough money to pay for my next level of college. also many of you will get a kick out of this. this is how country i am... i am living in my horse trailer right now... so yea i am a real cowboy...

well seeing i have been meeting a lot of new furs, both new and old fur friends have been telling me that msako needs to be fixed. her gender doesn't fit me in real life, and one might consider her a trap in real life. i have been playing with the idea for almost a year to change her. but i like her as she is. so i finally decided to make a male version of msako, and his name is Drift.

also i plan on posting a few new pictures, a couple i drew (or at least attempted too) and a couple i have commissioned a while back.

well sence this is a reveal, if you have any questions about me, you can ask them... but i may or may not answer them. but it never hurts to ask. ^.=.^

ok due to the past year of stepping out in the furry community, i have gotten to know a lot of furs in person. and after some persuasion by a few furs, im going to try to fix some issues with my fursona, and be a little more honest about my self. so i am currently in the process of redoing all of my info. so hopefully in a couple of days ill have my info up. and yes im leaving this journal as confusing as possible. but a couple of furs will know what i mean.

ok the East Texas Furries just had their halloween fur party. it was a big success!
we had 14 local furs. and i want to thank them for coming, and i hope they enjoyed them selves. i will not list who was all there. but i will say it was a full house.

we had an assortment of wonderful food from eyes balls, to eating out of a litterbox. and even some bean burritos. and some great punch to wash it all down. and i cant forget the warewolf cupcakes: so awesome looking i thought they were going to bite me!

we played plenty of games from rock band, and fruit ninja, to a game of fates weather it be a blessing or a curse.

i got to meet several new furs, and we had a great time all sitting around talking and joking.

and we also watched some movies too we watched paranormal activity... i am staying away from that house as far as i can.
and then we watched a movie about a flying bison. that was cool i can't figure out how they fly they have no real means of flight... sorry that's the zoologist coming out in me. well there was also some people who could move water dirt and air by dancing... and they fought these fire people...
well i would say the movie is called the last airbender. but it was a rapage of the series. but we watched it anyway.

there was also candy glore! loads and loads of candy, and were that came from... there was even more candy! and along with that there was a load of mountain dew too.

i have to say the halloween party was a great success and i cannot wait for the next meet.

out of everything, i want to say thank you to Buni  bunidoom and Jinx for all of their hard work for throwing the party and working so hard preparing the party. and also thank you for anyone who helped them get the party ready.
and for all of the furs that were there, please thank them for all of their hard work.

ok, so im getting ready for our Halloween fur party. and i am doing something i swore i would never do . i am making me a tail and plan to wear it.

ok so what kind of tail am i making? well i am making a leather orca (killer whale) tail. yes leather. this is an experimental see if i can do this kind of project. and well it kind of fun. all i have done so far is the spinal core of the tail. and yes that is made of leather too. the flukes are made of leather. i guess its getting obvious that i like leather, and like working with it.

now that i have a strong leather spine for my tail i wrapped it in duct tape, for a little extra strength. then last night i started wrapping mattress foam around the tail and on top of the flukes. once i have a decent amount of foam around the tail, i am going to cover it in a black upholstery leather hide. if my idea works out i will finish stuffing the tail with cotton. create an anchor plate with 2 belt loops and attempt to wear it.

i am going to post 2 picture of the tail so far. like i said its a work in progress.
ok scratch the pictures... FA does not accept any picture i take with my camera... go figure. well i will figure out something and post pics soon.

we are having a Halloween fur meet/party.
the events planned are scary movies, game system games, and board games.
all you have to do to help is bring some food and your self.
also come in costume if you want! its a Halloween furry party so why not.

Ok so i think the fires in my area are pretty much done. so out of being impatient, i have unloaded my horse trailer and set up my leather shop back to the way it was. and starting today i am going to get some projects done.
starting with a framed figure carving for a customer, possibly a couple of hog hunting items, and an attempt at making something steampunk. (non of which will be posted on FA, sorry)

what i also plan to make that will be posted on FA is a few figure carvings based on artworks made by various artists on FA. i will post them as i finish them. there is a list of a few that i am doing on my last journal. http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/2716736/

also i plan to go to my first fur meet here in a week or 2, it is of a small group in east Texas. the person putting it together is AsuraX2 http://www.furaffinity.net/user/asurax2/ .

i guess thats it for this journal.

Right now there are many fires in the east Texas area. in fact one very large fire is less than half a mile away from my house. so right now i have my entire leather shop packed into my horse trailer in case i need to haul butt.

so until these fire die down, i cannot get any leather work done... and believe me i am already behind. not only do i have 4 furry picture planned, but i also have other more important products waiting to be made that have been ordered by clients.

But once the fires are out and i can unpack here are some of the picture bu furry artists i plan to tool into leather. and just a note, and a disappointment to some, all the art i am tooling into leather will be clean.

Ok for the few who watch me. i have come to the understanding, i don't like writing, i am decient at it, but i just don't like it.

I am now going to try to peruse a new avenue were my true art potential lies. leather crafting.
i have a leather crafting business but so far i have not involved it with FA. but now i decided to make a figure carving for NecroDrone as a thank you. she is making a sketch of my fursona. so i did my first furry figure carving for her.

i am not sure were i will go from here but at least people will know i do have an artistic talent that i am passionate about.

for those of you who don't know i cannot draw, paint, or put do coherent thoughts into a picture form. I can however take someone's picture (depends on the amount of detail in it) and tool it into leather.

i am not taking commissions on my leather , but i may be willing to work out a trade for anyone interested,

as for anything else i am working on, i am still in the process to writing a story for a friend that i promised one too. but don't get to excited, its a PG story.

Ok so i have taken way to long to write a journal. so here i go.

I am Msako Hadithi. A while back i was playing with making a name for my self and i was trying different words in different languages, so my name means "Hunting Legend" In Swahili. And as a dragon i do like to hunt.

As for me in RL, i am a genuine Texan and a cowgirl. (yes i have a ranch with 40 head of cattle, and about 30 horses) And i am in college right now, and broke. And thats all you will know about my RL.

I like transformation, both stories and art. along with general furry art. I am not the best writer in the world, but i can write better than i can draw, and i felt it was about time i contributed to the furry community.

if you have any suggestion on how i can improve my writing. let me know.

other than that Thanks too all who have added me to their watch list and who have added my story to their favorites.

oh and i will have Desert Crossings finished hopefully by the end of this week.
