So I'm here asking for help finding an artist who purged themselves from the net but I want to see about finding some of their old art. Traditional artwork, I only remember two pieces.

One is set in a bar in fallout New Vegas, a furry who appears to be first recon fucking another fur on a bar top with a few other people around said bar.

Other one was an office setting, dude smoking a cigar while getting sucked off. Woman is on hands and knees sucking off, missing a shoe and pants only on one leg.

Anyone remember this artist?

So like I've mentioned before, what the hell has happened? When I first joined the fandom it was decent. Not a whole lot of fighting, people could get along with one another even when on the other end of the political and cultural spectrum. That isn't the case anymore.

Listen I know I'm an old, cranky and right down prick when it comes to a lot of things. That alone has caused me to make a bunch of enemies within the community. Yet, I've noticed some insane bullshit that has needed to be called out. People demanding the firing of people, removing them from societal groups and sometimes even down right murder. That all happened before the crazy bullshit that was the Pandemic and now post Pandemic, its gotten so much worse.

I can remember all the arguments that ended up with me either being kicked out of servers or me causing a self imposed exile. What sickens me the most is that those people continued to not only get away with their insanity but then become more powerful because of it.

Combine that with the ever lasting drama that plagues the community. The fear of being canceled, the want to not kink shame and what I call the popfur crisis and we (the furdom) have about torn ourselves apart. Don't get me wrong I've done my fear bit of simping and will continue to do that. Yet even my foolish self can now see the decay it has caused.

I have no clue how to fix any of this nor do I have the will to even try. Problem is a lot of people won't see the decay under the façade. Those of us who can see it and try to fix it will be attacked and left sickened by the others.


So what am I to do? Well personally I'll be limiting myself in the fandom and slowly exiling myself once more. Not about to kid myself and think there will be people who will miss me. Hell I know there be more celebrations that the old moralistic stubborn old bear with no money is finally gone.

I find it a bit odd to be making this journal post but alas I am compelled to. The changing of ownership and other updates for Furaffinity has me worried.

We are taking additional steps to combat misinformation by adding a new Code of Conduct policy. This new policy goes into effect in two weeks time (Feb 15, 2021).

COC 2.8 - Do not promote ideologies harmful to public safety.
Examples include: Covid misinformation, anti-vaccination, QAnon.

This part in general. It is worrying that they think they can be the arbiters of truth, that they will pick what information will and will not be allowed. Yes I know it is a privately own site but this makes me a bit ill. It is no secret that I am trying to find a new site and leave FA but since they are the mainstream site it is difficult to find another place to go.

I've thought in the past about making my own site but I lack the knowledge, skills and finances for that venture. If anyone has any ideas on where to go please ping me.

And to clarify. I do not support QAnon, but I also don't trust mainstream media and to hear the site owners and moderates parrot the MSM scares me. I've already survived a few purges, doubt they will allow a fence sitter like me to stay on the fence.

I want to go back when things weren't all political or racial.

This year has been a extremely difficult year for many of us. I have personal lost people I've known due to lockdown anxiety and even lost people close to my family pass due to Covid. I've had friends censored on media platforms and even myself been threatened personally due to my opinions. I've lost money, gained weight and been struggling with stress in these uncertain times. My only saving gracing being my focus on my education and work.

I have always attempted to stay away from politics. Its a cancerous corruption that tears people apart, sickens the mind and should be kept out of the mainstream life of things. Sadly, I feel as though I have been pressured into taking a side in this matter. So this is me taking a side. I chose my own. I will not be bullied, shamed, outcasted or attacked because I harbor beliefs that the two sides don't like. I will continue to denounce politics digging their collective tendrils into life outside of it. With that said I have already started to unfollow people who don't have the common sense to not attack people because of disagreements.

However with that said, the flak I have gotten lately has come from the so called left wing. In my real life outside of this site I have been attacked, bullied and threatened. Online I have even been threatened with doxxing. All of this has come from the so called tolerant left. I will not stand with the so called right wing as of yet for I wish to retain my civility and neutrality. All I ask is that neither side forces me to pick a side. All that does is make me resentful.

It is my wish to remain neutral and to stay civil all I ask is for the same.

So it appears I haven't made one of these in over a year. So why not go ahead and write a random one.

I've been working hard this year. Before Covid hit I started back at University and have already done two terms at the college. Art been a bit slow as most of my money been needed to pay for schooling and materials related. Still, I've been trying to do more with my Osha character which leads me to the next issue.

Writing, been difficult for me. Not only have I lost a lot of free time due to education but I've lost the will to write. Currently my brain is on strike when it comes to writing and I fear that means an end to a few stories I've been working on. For this I apologize.

Olden Bear Terms of Services / Q&A V1

Due to the sensitive nature of writing nowadays I feel I must lay out a few ground rules of when requesting a story from me and what happens when I request to write a story using your characters. While I hope to one day write a formal terms of service bur for now I just want to post an informal but still legally binding terms of service/ question and answer.

Since I am not doing paid commission work at the moment I don't see the point to post a full pricing sheet or anything of that nature. I shall do that come later date.

How do I go about requesting a story?

Well first off you much be 18 or older before requesting a story. Even if it is a clean story.

Easy, message me. Notes and discord work best. Start with a simple hello or just ask if I'm open to writing a story. I don't have a forum but the below does aid in me understanding what you want.

What should I expect when requesting a story?

Expect me to message you a lot as we work out details of the story such as story length, kinks, plot and characters that will be used in the story. I try my best to tailor each story to their respective requester. Sometimes I will refuse to take a request for many reasons. I also hold the right to refuse a request/trade.

When you request a story I will expect some sort of artwork to use as a cover page, like an icon or full picture. This can be a preexisting work or a brand new one. It isn't a necessity and we can work out the details via messages just know this is what I expect.

Sometimes I may not be able to finish the story due to health, creativity or real life issues. Normally if I can get to the third rough draft I will finish the story but just be aware that while rare I can cancel the story for any list of reasons.

How long will it take?

This depends on the story length and what is happening on my end. I also work on clean non-furry stories, off site, and those take up the majority of my time. Health is also a factor when I am writing as is my mental and emotional state can affect the creativity processes. A good rule of thumb is expect a 500 worded story to take about a week to two weeks and 2000 and beyond word stories to take over a month, maybe three.

Why do you take so long to write?

I take so long because I suck at proof reading my own work. I need to let it cool off first before I can effectively review, edit, proof read and redraft when needed. My personal life also takes a big chunk of time.

What can I expect while you are writing?

I will send you rough drafts and updates. My rule of thumb is you will get three rough drafts. Two of them will be for you to add in kinks, tell me how the story is going and make major changes. The final rough draft is the lock in, after that the story will be written using that draft.

I don't like the story can I cancel it?

Yes but if we are doing a trade(art for story) and you cancel after the third rough draft I still expect to get the artwork.

I canceled the story before the third draft what happens now?

Nothing really, I hope you will tell me why but just know after all that work I reserve the right to plug in other characters and use what I wrote for another story.

Who owns the copyright?

I own the copyright for the story. It will be copyrighted to my name. This means I have the right publish this story on what platform I see fit but don't worry I normally ask permission before doing that. The rough drafts also remained copyrighted to me as well.

You will own your own character(s), I will own my own character(s) if used in a story and the artwork is copyrighted to the artist who drew it. I will mention this in the FA page and post links to the artist main page and your own.

But its my characters how can you keep the copyright?

When you request/trade/commission a story from me you are giving me permission to use your character(s) in that story. I will not use your character(s) in another without permission for that story.

What kinks do you work with?

There are a lot of kinks, plots and ideas I'm willing to work with. If you aren't sure just ask but below is a quick example list of will and won't.

I will write things like honeymoons, weddings, couples, bi, straight, gay, shemale, herm, women, male, public and many more.

I will not write things like, Snuff, sexual gore, paraphilic infantilism, underage characters in a sexual nature, rape, unbirth, vore, real life politics and many other things.

What else should I expect?

As mentioned before I ask a lot of questions. I do this to better tailor the stories to how you want them and to keep true to the character(s) in them.

You came to me and asked to use my character(s) in a story what does this mean?

Sometimes I will reach out to use someone else character(s) for stories. I mainly do this when a story pops into my mind and I don't have a fitting character of my own to use. This means that the rough draft rule is a bit different. I'll share one maybe two rough drafts to see if you are okay with your character in that story and for feedback on it. I may or may not post this story and while I would hope you let me use art for it or help co-sponsor art it is not needed like a requested story is.

What rights do I have if you request to use my character in a story?

The same rights as I do. You can say no. However I may or may not finish this story or may use it as a practice piece. I will try to keep an open line of communication with you at all times.

Anything else I should be aware of?

Thank you for asking. When I accept a story I put my heart and soul into it. In the past I've had people request a story then never read it. This is very painful to me as a writer. The best analogy I can think of, is a baker who puts in hours of work baking and decorating a cake just for someone to never take a bite of it then tell me it tasted fine.

Two days ago I lost my hard drive to corruption. The whole thing is gone. I can't even repair it enough to salvage my bookmarks and files. Most of my stuff was backed up but I lost a few stories I was working on and lost money on a new drive. Needless to say this has hit me pretty hard and my motivation is gone again. With hope I will move forward and remake these stories.

Well I am out of the hospital with a good functioning heart. Sadly I am still light headed as fuck, tired and truly unmotivated to do much of anything besides sleep, play browser games and eat. I'm still trying to get things moving and head back into writing. Needless to say its hard to write when you are so light headed you can't focus.

I've been meaning to make this for the last month and a half but was unable to word it correct. For people wondering where I've been, well I haven't been around. My father had heart surgery, so I've had to be there for him but that isn't all. My own health has been fairly poor lately. I've been staying light headed, sick to my stomach and now my heart is acting up. This December I will be in the hospital having my heart tested to make sure there isn't any damage or disease that is going to kill anytime soon. I'm still hopefully that my doctors can figure out what is wrong with my head as I can't write a story without becoming so dizzy I about fall over.

I have a couple of pictures that need uploading, a few stories still needing editing and a few I still need to work on. I'm stuck with stranded at the moment and needing to learn how to write speeches of survival. I hope to be able to get back into writing after the new year.

Well not much to say but today is my birthday. I don't want to tell my age but I'm another year old.

I would like to reassure everyone, that I am alright. The storms skirted my town and we only got a mild rain. Now with that said, a lot of people lost their home, pets, car, lots of money and worst of all loved ones. Hurricane Florence did a number on a lot of towns and cities and they could use your support. If you are in the USA consider giving time, and/or donations of blood and/or money to the red cross to help support those in needs. If you are outside the USA, please pray for those affected. If you are non-religious and outside the USA then I guess you could hope for the best or find a way to donate.

I had been hoping to be back on my writing game by now, but I'm not. There was a massive hiccup with my medication change which has left me very sick, tired and recovering. During the change, I had fears the medication wasn't working well and the side effects were too bad for me to continue. My doctor decided to add on another medication which sent me through hell. Now my mind is addled and creativity dim if not dead. I feel very sick to my stomach as I go through renewed withdraws from that medication attempt.

The new pills I am on may also be causing me issues and so I may need to stop those too. This whole trip as been utter hell for me and left me drained of my writing skills. Sadly, this may still just be the beginning of this nightmare. Hopefully, soon, real soon, I will be back to my writing desk and able to write. All depends if I am poisoned again after this bout of mental medication.

A very sick and tired Olden_bear.

This will be a short journal. Right now I've been dealing with two different bugs; one that has me running to the bathroom every thirty minutes and another that makes it feel like I have two fingers in my throat, hitting my gag reflex.

I've also been taking writing classes, working on normie stories and preparing to change my anxiety medication. All these things have made it near impossible to write and I'm just out of inspiration, for the moment.


Hopefully I will be back on my game soon but right now I am just too worn down to do much of anything.

As stated in the title my class just started so I will focus on my studies and not writing smut on here. This will be for the six week or so. I may try to post some stories between studies but it will be unlikely as I wish to learn how to write better stories before I post more.


Another thing is I maybe taking a break from FA, or even finding a new FA like website. The latest Code of Conduct update has me a bit worried as it appears FA is taking a political side. I'm not going to go into much detail and while I consider myself far from being alt right, I do share some right wing beliefs and I am worried I will be targeted by the administration even though I do my best to remain neutral while on here.

Here we are again, time for another update.

To start off, I am still working on a bunch of stories which I will list below. Currently I am facing another burn out and renewed depression. I don't know how long this will last but I really hope it won't last too long.

On the bright side I am signing up for some writing classes, so hopefully my writing will get better and my stories will be more engaging, still I need feedback from my readers to tell me what I can do better.

Now for the stories I am currently working on.

Lucas at a strip club (Temp title) - I thought Lucas could use a little time away from his wife and what a better way than a strip club. Don't worry it will end with him bent over and filled by a cameo. I don't want to ruin it yet so you just need to read the story. Sadly I am hating the rough draft and need to rewrite the whole thing.

Lapis goes clubbing (Maybe a temp title)- Nothing like a little free to use clubbing. This is a story based off another story which I will link with my story.

Stranded with Tribe Tale of Tails: Chapter 6 - this is another safe for work chapter with a focus more on the community and a speech from Aleksander, along with a bit of showing off tech.

Victorian Brothel- Another Lapis story set in Victorian times at a brothel. This story is on ice as I have yet to find a good male character to use in the story.

After May 16 I will be focused on my classes and writing some clean normie stories that I hope to one day publish.

I would like to ask for a little bit of help from people reading this. Artwork donations, sharing stories links, feedback and just general communications would really help me out a lot. Little shout outs, comments and even encouraging notes will help me to keep going.

Hello everyone.

First off I want to thank everyone who is watching me. Between my chronic depression and hand injuries its been a bit hard to write and continue on with everything but seeing 33 watchers really has filled my heart with hope. I hope to reach my 50th watcher soon but it will require a lot of work on my part.

I also want to give a special thanks to the artists who have done pieces for me. I don't have a lot of money and to get artwork is a big treat. Special shout out to  Chanrom for my profile picture.

As you all can see I finally finished the requested story. I apologize for taking so long to get it done.

Now moving forward I have a few things planned. One I promised myself that I would write the next two chapters of Stranded with Tribe: Tale of Tails before I do anymore stories outside of my own characters but that does not mean I am not taking requests.

Some other stories may pop into my mind and I will write them before these two chapters but I hope to focus on the chapters only and plan to get them out before next week.

Lapis and Lucas stories are still taking some time and I will work on them in my spare time.

However, I have managed to bugger my arms, again so writing will be slow as it is difficult for me to even hold a pencil.

Finally I want to talk about financial issues.

I'm not making a penny on any of these stories and right now that is fine but I will need to set up something soon to accept donations. The problem is, I don't want to have this linked with my personal bank account which means I need to set up a new bank account. Sadly that costs money around here, so I am not wanting to set it up till I know I would be making enough money per month to afford the account.

First thing is first, I finally saw Star Wars the last Jedi a few days ago. I don't want to start a war on here but it was honestly so bad of a movie in my beloved series that it sent me into a depression, well it was the final push to send me into a deeper depression. The pain in my hands just won't stop and with all these holidays and spring finally getting here.

I still have a request story to start but it is just taking me forever as part of me wants to stop writing smut and move to cleaner more action filled stories, that my family would be proud to read.

Maybe I should go into why I started to write smut in first place.

I thought it would help me learn how to write and be a good source of income while I was learning, boy was I wrong. I haven't made a cent from writing smut and while I've learned a lot, I just haven't been able to keep writing enough to keep learning. I maybe write once a month now, I need to be writing lest twice a week but can't seem to get my mind in gear.

The stories I need to do right now are the requested story, sore feet, Lucas and Lapis' meeting, their date and even continue Stranded with tribe.

Kind comments help me to keep going but I still need feedback and advice to help me write better and I hope people will do that for me.

Hopefully I can write more here soon, I just need to get over this block.

I still Loath editing my own stories.

Well, seems every day a new block happens. For the last week I've been tending to sick family members with some type of respiratory virus, so far I haven't caught it but I feel like any moment I will come down with the sickness, (Disturb pun intended.) and that is slowing down my ability to write as one member likes to listen to the T.V a bit louder than I can work with.

Right now the stories are progressing slowly.

Stranded with Tribe Tale of Tails is needing more work for the next two chapters, the first of them being Valor's meeting with the acting captain before going to meet up with Osha.


Hopefully this sickness skips over me and everyone who is affected by it will recover quickly.

Up to 27 watchers ^^, makes me feel so much better to look at that number but lets try to pump these numbers up and get to 30 before the end of this month.

Maybe it is because I feel like I am getting sick or maybe something else I don't know but right now I need to blow off steam and so here it goes, pardon the typos and lack of grammar.

I hate politics outside of politics, it is ruining youtube, google and video games. I never understood the need to share your political beliefs on a public platform like this. It poisons the well of enjoyment, makes enemies or gets people so fired up they do stupid shit.

My belief is to try to stay apolitical as humanely possible, now I tend to act like a volcano, minor things build up inside of me till something, and I hate using this word, triggers my eruption, like right now.

Personally I don't give a wooden nickel about someone's belief on guns, abortion or whatever, I'm here for art, stories and porn. When I see someone posting political stuff on their pages it sets me off, like watching a shiny fresh apple turn rotten with a maggot wiggling about its rot. Now I won't lie, I'm human and I like to see similar ideologies but even then I tend to move away from that.

I'm not attacking anyone's belief here and I hope everyone else would be wise enough and kind enough not to attack someone because of their beliefs, a peaceful debate is one thing, calling someone a Nazi/shit/whatever is another thing.

Let's try to keep FA free of politics, please.

So was looking to set up a page to get donations and my first go was to patreon but reading their privacy policies really freaked me out. I don't like Oswell stuff they are pulling, its one thing to keep track of my IP and use some basic cookies but to trace my real life location, all the pages I go to and things like that is really a no go for me.

I remembered BymeAcoffee ad from awhile back which right now is 100% free, doesn't track my real life location and simple layout. Needless to say I am leaning towards them and NOT Patreon who had their little issue awhile back.

The problem I am having is that nearly everyone uses Patreon and I don't know how many people are willing to switch over or if not going with Patreon will really harm my revenue (Which is nothing right now)

Of course I still need to set up a business account at a bank and a new paypal instead of using my personal paypal.

Anyways I need some advice, what do you all think I should do?

Well it is time again fro the monthly update and things aren't going how I wish they would.

I am sadden by the lack of snow in my city and the amount of rain we are getting is keeping me in a semi depressed state which in turn is making it near impossible for me to find the will to write.

My hands and arms are still hurting and it is my own fault as I been playing factorio and tropico a lot.

Now for story updates.

Stranded with Tribe Tale of Tails is still slow, I need to hand write the next two chapters.
A foot fetish story featuring  ExileofErini character Georgia is needing to be redrafted.
A story featuring  Mellybyte has been hand written and now needs to be typed up and then redrafted.
There is another story that I lost that needs to be typed up but well I lost it.

I commissioned an Icon from  chanrom so hopefully that will be done soon.
I would like to commission art for Lapis but I have next to no money at the momment.
I still need to commission  MushroomTea but that is like 50 usd

Misc, updates.
I now have 23 watchers (at time of writing this.) which has made me happy.
Currently waiting till I have 50 watchers before I start up a paypal and some type of Patron page.

Questions
So I asked this while back but no one ever answered but what length of story do you prefer? 500 to 1000 word stories? 5000 to 20000 or do you like long stories like novel length? Any feedback would help me.

I don't really believe this is a good place to vent this but I don't really have anywhere else to do this.

For some odd reason, by some unknown force, and without anything to normally provoke me, I had a panic attack in my own bedroom. No one was around and there was no good reason for me to have this attack. I've had a bit of a headache today and a bit of a cough so I'm wondering if I'm not coming down with a bug that has ravaged my family.

On another note, I am still trying to rest my arms so they will heal but its been slow and my mind been foggy and not wanting to work.

Well with all that I am going to go rest and try to figure out why I had this attack.

For the past two years I've been dealing with a lot of arm and hand pain from an old injury, this month the pain has flared up to the point I can barely write this journal. Needless to say I am going to take a break from this for awhile, which means that stranded with tribe: tale of tails will not reach its due date and the other stories I have won't be worked on for awhile till the pain subsides.

Well, this is just a monthly update and to talk about some works.

First off, I am in a lot of pain as my tendons refuse to heal, must likely because I am writing a lot, so I will bear through this.

I was able to post a first person story and the third chapter of Stranded with Tribe tot, so that has me in a small happy place as I was even able to get some inexpensive art. Sadly, my funds are running low right now and I doubt I will be able to commission any new artwork which makes me well sad. I would like to get some art done, mainly a profile picture and some artwork of Lapis and/or Lucas but that takes money.

Starting up a Pateron or popping my paypal on here has crossed my mind but as my paypal uses my name and not a company or pen name I don't want to have that on here. I know that seems paranoid but I want to keep my personal clean life as separated from the dirty smut writer life as possible which means I need to get another bank account set up just to have a business profile for this which takes time and even more money.

Now with that out of the way allow me to discuss more pleasurable business,

Currently I have three new stories that are in the works, two have to do with Lapis. I just need to get them on digital paper and not real paper. Another has to do with Sushi revenge, a little sexy tentacle action story, still in brainstorm phase. I decided what the next chapter of Stranded will be about and I hope to have all of these done by mid of February.

With all that done, I want to ask some questions.

How long do you like to have your stories? When I read a story on here I tend to go for 2k word stories. Is that a good size you like to read or you prefer longer or shorter?

Another question is this. Do you think I should go ahead and set up a pateron page or set up for paypal, both will mean I need to get a new bank account and I don't want to go through all that work and financial storm if I won't get donations.

So doing a couple of new things. Mainly been trying to make my own pixel art but I'm a slow learner when it comes to the arts but with the help of online templates and other things I have been able to do a little bit of my own work as you can tell by the new story icons. I'm hoping to make an item icon pack later with some lewd things and some non-lewd things. Again having to learn how to use Gimp art program and YouTube is failing me as most guides don't work for me.

Now that been taking some of my time away from writing along with the coming holidays and well as seen in last update I managed to injury myself AGAIN and so I can't write as much as I wish I could, hopefully next year I can get some good medical attention to my arms and find a path back to health.

Story update time.

Stranded with tribe is taking longer than I thought because I keep being lazy and uninspired to continue work but I will get back to it again. Editing a couple of other stories and waiting for an artist to give me feed back on two of them.

Now I am also working on off site stories which takes more of my time.

The quick wank stories aren't taking off like I hoped they would but those are stories I write because I want to see them and I will continued to do those.

Now finances
Waiting to get about 20-50 watchers before I start begging for donations in terms of money. Till then I am accepting of gift art :D
