Just my luck I would take interest in making an account for my art on Twitter but then the Elon Musk dumpster fire was ignited and now I’m unsure?

I also joined two other platforms- Pillowfort (which im still figuring out) and YipnYap (which looks really promising 👀).

Neither of my profiles have anything on them as of yet BUT figured if anyone wants to connect I linked them. I really like the landscape of the art community I’ve see on Twitter and I miss having that with my tumblr which obviously got nuked with the great death of 2018 and I don’t wanna jump on another sinking ship. I would just like some extra exposure options and fronting the bills for ads on here gets understandably tough.

This year some people very close to me wanted to send some holiday cheer which long story short left me with a $118 ups duty fee (they didn’t know it would happen) and since my broke disabled ass only had $156 in the bank I’ve made the decision to close my Christmas YCH four days early.

Doesn’t seem like much of an issue because there’s only three bids split between the two options and it’s been very low demand.

I’m really sorry for the change but I’ve got the rest of December to live on $38 😅

So yesterday I had to make the choice to put my childhood dog down. With my mom in the nursing home I’ve been his sole caregiver since 2017 but he’s been our special Skye pup for the last 14 years. It was the right choice for him since he had a lot of health issues and oh lord my heart aches without him but my fucking goodness does it piss me off that doing a kind and loving thing for your animal instead of letting them suffer costs $300.

I wanted to open the floor to anyone who may be able to give me their two sense on things they love to see in adoptable themed to the season & holidays??

Are there any specific body types you think are under represented in adopts?
Any species I don't typically do that you'd love to see?
Any seasonal themes you absolutely cant get enough of?
I know flats are popular so maybe pre-posed flats with seasonal upgrades??

I was also thinking of possibly doing an Christmas themed YCH? Is that still something people are interested in these days?

OR do you not want anything seasonally themed and just like regular old content??

Happy August 1st from your local NOT HOMELESS artist!!

Yes, thanks to a few very kind and super generous people im able to stay in my apartment!!

This means that once i have my computer arranged and set up that i'll be right back on getting those commissions out. Thank you so much to those who sent me well wishes, commissioner who have been beyond amazing and patient, and those generous donations that have literally kept a roof over my head.

Thank y’all for all the support coming in, I’ve managed to raise $120 of the $495 I need for rent and that’s amazing!! Although it’s not the goal I’m so grateful for those who have been able to donate and it’s made me feel so blessed to have watchers who are so generous because I didn’t expect a dime. Small artist problems? 🙈

Finally got internet back but its not 100%. Half the things on my phone wont load and desktops not much better with websites.

Not all my things will run but I'm hoping in between moments of low service I can at least save ref's to get back to dishing out owed art. I'm sorry I'm a few days behind but Canada had an electronic snow day. Hopefully its all over!!

I live in Canada and as of 4AM on July 8th half of my country lost internet, debit access, Interac e-transfers, ATM’s, apartment buzzers, Wifi, cable, phone (Lucky my phones with a different company), transit system fares, 911 (Emergency) and a lot more.

This means until it’s restored I can’t access any references, notes, etc. on my desktop to complete your pieces.

There’s virtually no transparency from the parent company of why it happened or when it will be back so I’m just eating away at my 12G of monthly phone data checking Twitter for updates.

I’m so so sorry for the delay but I don’t have any control over this.

I don't have the energy to go in to detail and for worried commissioners, I have until July 31st to vacate or give my notice if I cant figure some way to make up the other half of my rent every month since my room mate's only given me 30 days to figure out a way to stay off the street but I will prioritize getting the flash commissions done before I possibly lose internet. I cant issue refunds but your art will get to you, i promise that!

Hey!! So I made an update journal about three weeks ago and since then some stuff's been happening.

I live in South Western Ontario in Canada and the city I live in just went through two F1 tornado (One like right over the building I live, legit trees were ripped from the ground, we were in the direct path, etc.) in what's called a derecho storm. I'm fine, everything's okay, but power and internet all over my province has been slow to be restored because the damage has been so bad.

Luckily I have power and internet back!!

I'm also receiving some medical health news about a family member on the 30th of May, and I may be taking a brief few days break should the diagnosis be bad. Please keep my family in your thoughts.

Now that i'm half way in the clear and my next irl hurdle is right around the corner I'll be able to resume commissions once again!! ^^ Thank y'all for understanding!!

Hello All!

I'm running about two weeks behind schedule on my commissions, i haven't forgotten anyone i promise! Over the Christmas break my father was hospitalized with sepsis and my mothers room mate in her nursing home was exposed to covid (both are okay! but my moms been re-exposed again) so between my parents and my grandmother who increasingly needs help because of her lymphoma my "break" that was supposed to be a time to power out commissions was derailed.

On top of all of this, i live in Canada and my part of Canada was hit with a snowstorm halting a lot of necessities, had a couple brief power outages, and stopped the post BUT i have a working monitor now so im able to jump back into art and get your pieces to y'all! (i was using a very dead tv as a monitor and it died....)

Which has made doing just about anything nearly impossible. Unfortunately this includes drawing on my tablet. BUT good news! i seem to be steadily healing and hope to be recovered enough to get back to work very soon!

Hello!! I figured i'd make a journal to let y'all know that im finally back online!! YAY

I'm ridiculously sorry and i send a million and one apologies to all of my watchers and commissioners and i've been so upset that its taken so long for me to be able to be back online.

For anyone curious about my absence:
It really boils down to having pets in a blessing and a curse. My partner and I adopted a cat a few months ago from their sister and we weren't aware that the cat has a tendency of chewing cords. My desktop that i do all my art is run by ethernet cord and we hadn't noticed that the cat had chewed through my cord until my elderly dog had an accident. So my cat chewed my cord and my dog peed on it making me a less than impressed pet owner and an artist without internet access. I need a long cord since our internet is across our house and since paypal is my only means to buy things online i had to resort to snail mail ebay, where my first purchase never showed up after months of waiting. So i had to order another and wait even longer. (I ordered a new pen for my tablet in march and i wont get it until june -_-)

BUT I HAVE MY NEW CORD AND I HAVE LOTS OF FINISHED WORK I CAN FINALLY SEND TO MY COMMISSIONERS!!

Thank you all so much for being so patient as i tried to navigate through these roadblocks and i look forward to being able to give y'all the finished products!! Im not leaving the fandom or leaving Furaffinity as some have questioned!!
