Surgery Date & Info~
Posted 12 years agoSo I will be having my surgery on June 12th, I just started my two week long diet of 3 protein shakes & one meal under 300 calories x3x!
It's gonna be a long two weeks :l
Anywho, I go in Wednesday, June 12th at 8am for my surgery, I should be home by Friday the 14th unless they think I should stay longer which is unlikely xD
So yeah, that's what's up, I'll do my best to get as many commissions done as I can since my recovery will make it hard for me to sit up and draw :/

I go in tomorrow {May 23rd} for my Pre-Op appointment! Tomorrow I will learn the exact date of my operation and fill you guys in with all the details, because after my operation it is a 3 day stay in the hospital and I will not be able to do much of anything for a week or so after my operation xD
Though I am happy to say I have almost lost 40lbs!! I can't believe I am saying that! I never in a million years expected to do this good! I can't wait for my surgery so I can continue to lose weight and just be healthy!!
I will make a journal making sure everyone knows everything about my surgery dates and what not <3!
I love you guys so much and thanks for putting up with meee ;u;

Posted 12 years agoHow we as a fandom, are often criticized and ridiculed for enjoying dressing up as giant animals, drawing human-esque animals, etc. And you know, I hate that shit, I hate the fact that, just because there is an adult side to this fandom, it creates a bad name for the whole thing. And I would think most people roll their eyes and scoff at bad publicity when it happens.
But yet as a fandom we are SO QUICK to judge another fandom, in this case yeah, I'm talking about Bronies, because we like a show aimed towards kids?
Do you make fun of people who still watch Powerpuff Girls? How about Dexter's Lab? Or any of the awesome shows I had to watch as a kid on Cartoon Network. Well really it's the same fucking concept. If you've watched the show, and decided, EH NOT MY CUP OF TEA, I SHALL NOT HAVE ANOTHER SIP. Then fine, and even if you have no desire to watch the show, still fine. But how is it any different for you to make fun of a fandom who also has an adult side to it, because you don't like it, or find it weird? THAT'S THE SAME THING PEOPLE DO TO FURRIES. They don't understand it, they find it weird so they call us animal fuckers, and shit.
Well just cause there's pony porn, that means every adult male/female who is a brony is a pony fucker? Idk, I just hate how people have to be so negative about everything all the time.
I don't like a lot of things, but I don't post hate art, and rude shit about what I hate, I simply ignore it and go on my way.
Honestly the human species reminds me of the episode of American Dad where Rodger starts being nice, and starts to die from it.
It's like if humans don't say hateful and rude shit, they fall apart and die.
I understand everyone has opinions, and I never expect a person to share mine. But there's a difference between an opinion and calling someone a horse fucking pedophile.
I dunno, I just hate that people have to hate on things just because they don't like it. MLP Is an amazing show, and I was weary of it at first, but once I watched it, I'm addicted to it. And it's because Lauren Faust is fucking amazing, she made PPGs, Fosters Home, and too many other shows that were just awesome, cause she KNOWS how to appeal to all age groups, and the voice actors for the most part are fantastic, especially Tara Strong, who is like one of my fucking idols right now XD
I mean, if people would stop hating on the show, and watch it, you have no idea, you might love it as much as bronies do, and then see why it's a fandom.
I just wish people could take a step back and realize they're doing the exact same thing to another fandom, that has been done to the furry fandom so much.

Posted 12 years agoHey guys, I know I've been pretty inactive recently and art hasn't been seen from me in a good while.
I figured I'd let everyone know why and what's been happening.
As of the beginning of February I started a bariactric program. For you who don't know it's a weight loss surgery where you get one of three different surgeries to assist in weight loss. I've struggled with my weight since elementary school, so I finally decided to take charge and looked into this program.
I'm going to be getting a Gastric Sleeve which basically cuts out 70-80% of my stomach, making it into a sleeve, making portion control basically forced. In order to get this surgery there's been many steps I've had to take towards it. First being losing 10% of my body weight, which for me would be 25lbs, I'm currently at about 22lbs, and have been working my ass off counting calories and going to the gym.
During my last appt. they wanted me to go see a counselor to talk about emotional/stress eating. So I've seen her twice so far, and we've been working through a lot of my personal issues and working on my self confidence being boosted. We've talked about my lack of confidence in all areas including my art, and I've been told to do my best to stop thinking negative and focus on the positives.
So I'm going to do my best to try to work on commissions and instead of pointing out all my own mistakes and hating all my stuff, I'm going to try to focus on what I do well and work at being more positive.
I'm suppose to see her like 3-4 more times I think, and once that happens, if it's before the 29th of April, which it should be, and she clears me, I will get an appointment with my surgeon and we should start the planning phase of the surgery.
Once I get it done, I will be in the hospital for 3 days, and then be on a liquid diet for 2 weeks. During that time I will be recovering and start getting used to the change.
Obviously during that time art will not happen since I will be in bed most of the time due to recovering.
I don't know when the Surgery will take place, it could be next month it could be later, I'm not sure, but I'll make sure to let people know so you don't try to get a hold of me and think I'm ignoring you.
So yeah that's really what's been happening and why I've been so absent. Thanks for everyone's patience with me, and I'm working hard to get past some of my personal issues and try to see my strengths.

Posted 13 years agoOkay so I feel like even though I have some commissions that are WAY over due by way too long, I've done my best to update everyone to my best ability, and contact people in regards to any updates I may have had for them. That being said if anyone EVER needed to contact me ABOUT their commissions. If anyone EVER did it on my shout page, I'd be extremely pissed off :/
Contacting about Commissions, in my opinion, should NEVER be done in public through shouts, or any other variation of public contact. That's so god damn rude. Especially demanding a refund publicly, that's giving the artist a bad name.
I've never intended to not give people what they paid for, and in many cases I've wished I could give refunds, because I don't have the motivation I did when I took on these commissions, but I just don't have the funds to do it. Regardless, if someone has made countless updates and apologizes, they do not deserve to be flamed publicly and given a bad name because you're too fucking impatient to wait on the art you paid for.
I hate people, and if you sit there and act like a huge little bitch fuck to my BEST FRIEND, yeah expect to be flamed and bitched out, because you're a little dick cunt who only really started shit to "start a flame under your ass" to get her fucking art. EVEN THOUGH her fucking tablets broken, and she works 50+ hours a week.
But no, it only matter that you want your art that you paid for.
I understand wanting your art. How about you contact her in a NOTE or an EMAIL and discuss it? And not start with "HEY GIMME MONI"

Posted 13 years agoGot my Wifi adapter for my desktop! :3 I've been without the use of my desktop since I got back from MFF cause we moved rooms to the bigger space upstairs and I was in the same room as the router before so I was able to be connected by ethernet :b

OBLIGATORY POST CON JOURNAL <3

And though I am sad the con is over, the thing I'm most emo over is the fact that I have to go back to being away from my MaoMaoKitty :'c
Anyway, I had a blasty blast, I met awesome people, formed a posse with 
's mum XD DON'T MESS WITH EIGHT YO <3
There may have been some ignorant people we had to deal with on the first night, but y'anno it's all good :3
is fuckin' awesome, got to room with my hubby, my kitty, some stank ass sheppy, a random fur who was pretty awesome, and 
who is a real awesome person and complete sweetheart! <3
I got some Dook ears and a tail c:
I got to run around with while she suited c:
In the end our room worked out and we filled our spot, so it all went pretty awesome.
I should have a Dook suit by next MFF! ;w;
I'm so excited to be able to finally suitttttttttttttttt!!
So yeah! I had an awesome time. Didn't really buy much XD
I miss everyone and I can't wait to see everyone again. Hopefully I'll be able to see my Maomao long before next MFF XD
