This is not all of the songs that get emotional, but some. <3 I will say, that songs without vocals just don't do it for me, as I need a vocal expression to connect with it. Not sure if it's because I like to sing along or what, but it's usually what I prefer.

I have an especially dark connection to this song, but I still like it.

1st - Finally saw Star Wars: Force Awakens. It was okay. Seemed like more of a 'set up the story' movie than an epic one. It may be because I'm not invested in that much in the franchise. Talked a lot to @chairbluepen, watched some awesome streams of toks k-chan beautifulserendipity today. I played catch up with an old friend, trying to bury an old hatchet. I haven't drawn today, but I may do so tomorrow. Pretty good mood right now. c: Also, really enjoying Beyonce's new album. :D
3rd - Went food shopping today. Was all good except for the taxi mixup and then the poor nihilistic & suicidal driver. That was a wild ride.

6 • Today is my mom's birthday. I'm lucky enough to have gotten her gifts early, even if she has to work today. I will say the living situation is horrible. The house is falling down around us and though something is getting fixed, it doesn't really fix the rest of if which is aging poorly due to poor & cheap renovation nearly a decade ago. u wu;
I'm not sure if I can continue on like this...
25 • The sink still hasn't been put back yet. At least we have our water on and working again, due to the landlord finally paying someone to come here to fix our pipes. - n- In other news, a dear friend gifted me with a new GPU & PSU. Things are a little better. But I think it might be my motherboard and CPU holding me back. *shakes fist at AMD*

1 • It's still early, just past midnight here. I am exhausted, but I got to enjoy most of the eve with Chair. There's still the actual day part of today to do, so this may be subject to change. This holiday, I had a very close brush with death and I'm in a pretty bad situation, but I'm dealing with it as best as I can. If I suddenly disappear off and seem unreachable to all but Chair, it's for a reason. i may be being moody, throwing a pity party, or trying to distract myself by concentrating on a subject. Apologies. Goodbye to 2015, it had some up and some painful downs. I hope I can make next this year a better one. ♥
I'm also leaving old owed art (+6 months) back in 2015, unless the people come forwards to gift it/complete it. Some of the money is lost and others were just gifts that I suppose the people lost time/inspiration to do. Whatever the case, water under the bridge now. It's fine. No use holding onto it. No huge amount of money lost, no reason to pressure people into doing stuff they changed their minds on.
11 - Rest in peace, David Bowie. You inspired so many people around the world and gave back to this universe. I would like to think you've joined the stars in the sky.

Posted 10 years ago1st - Gonna be a rough month. Not sure what I'm gonna do for my son. His 13th birthday is tomorrow and I've ordered a book series (the only!) he seemed interested in. Not sure if we'll be able to get him a cake, but depending on his behavior, I may do some fun stuff with him. Also, Christmas. It might be a rough Christmas like last year. All we were able to get the boys were... well, candy. Too big for toys now and electronics are expensive. >n< Though on the other hand... kidlet needs boots and things. My brother can be fine on his own. Besides, he doesn't put money into the house really anyways. > ~>

Posted 10 years ago1st - Things have been really rough for me emotionally. I won't be nearly as active as I used to be. Life is only getting worse as the years pass by. I've always had despair crushing me since I was a child. I don't think I can continue to go on like this. While suicidal thoughts are always a normal part of my thinking, it's gone beyond thinking again. It's gone to urges. I'm safe, right now. I've talked to a relative and chairbluepen a bunch. I need so much in the winter and I'm so... delicate.
I wish I had a use that I could make a living from but... sometimes, I think what's the purpose of me taking up space in this world?
Art commissions will nearly completely slow down, as this was a year that was generously given to me by my loved ones. But.. the time has come where I can't get art anymore as much. I need to stay warm, eat properly, stay clean, keep my clothes clean as well as provide things for my child and his schooling.
Besides, me leaving here won't make too much of a difference. I'm not an artist or a prolific commissioner. But just in case anyone wanders over, they'll know what's up.
Also, if anyone knows about immigrating between countries in relationship, I'd like to know about your experiences. You can leave it in a note or comment. Sadly, I don't have a certified talent or degree in anything, Chair is in a similar boat, and I have a child to boot. I don't know... how we're gonna be together... Next year we'll be going on 3 years of knowing each other... I don't know what we're going to do...
Anyways, sorry for the sad update. If you want to know more send a PM. Also, if you have me on Skype, send a message. I apologize for being a ghost, but I don't want to continuously cry about my issues everyday all the time to you all. People can only take so much gloom and doom before they start to avoid you entirely.
So I take myself out of the equation.

Posted 10 years ago2nd - Hai hai. This month is still rough as mom is without transportation... so it's rough getting things and doing things without issue. Public transport sucks here. TwT But in other news, I will be 28 on the 17th, so yay me, I guess? I felt the need to update my about me a bit. I'll probably go back and make it neater when I'm not falling over from sleep deprivation. Thank you for reading! =n.n=

Posted 10 years ago1 - This year looks like it might be the year of change, more hardships, but ultimately better things ahead. Possibly at the very least. Gonna need to pull in some kind of money for so many things. I'm trying to optimistic, but it's very difficult. I may post my Amazon wishlist of things I need here... but unsure about it. Outside of my friends, no one may realize how rough things can get here and I feel really self-conscious about it. After all, everyone has a sob story, right?

3rd - Fallout 4 stuff was announced. Chair and my friend Diver are super excited. I suppose if I play 3, I may be as well at some point. Gonna spend more time in SL while I take care of a few RL things such as doctor appointments and exercising. Hoping 2015 can be the year of healing! =n.n=
20th - This humidity is wrecking me. This month is going fairly well due to Chair's help mostly. We're staying afloat. I need to get a lot of medical stuff done still and get in contact with a friend to see about moving~

UPDATE - Hiatus | RL | FA | SL | Personal Entry
Posted 10 years agoMy hiatus will be longer than expected. A friend has helped me out with a very serious RL matter, but it looks like things will be rough for a long while. Financially, I won't be able to access the internet for as frequently as I do. I could potentially have normal internet at home once again, but most of it must be spent doing lots of job searching and researching for other aspects of my life regarding the physical and mental well being of me and my child. There are also a lot of big changes that I may have to undergo, including possibly separating from them to possibly improve the situation all around.
There's been a lot of inner family strife regarding a member of my immediate family that we're trying to sort and manage. There will also be the budget that I will attempt to aid my mother in, as having a budget plan and sticking to it will be very difficult. I can only hope that something will be able to work out for us. We'll have to live without entertainment, socializing, and generally the little comfort we had before. It will suck for a long time, but I believe if we buckle down we can do it. It will be boring and depressing, but it's better than the alternative.
I have a number of personal matters to attend to and now more than ever, I need some kind of employment. Even at awful places. While I'm not a fan of working at places that seem to have a high-risk of verbal abuse and an environment that detrimental to employees health, I may have to just try to cope for as long as my body can hold out. I'm still in the preliminary stages of getting myself evaluated for my issues. I hope I can work with my doctors to do so, though on Medicare, it will be supremely difficult. My personal experience with doctors, your health is one of their lowest priorities here.
I will be unwatching every artist on FA and slowly rewatching only a few. While I have no issue with adult art in general, the sheer number of submissions I get of very explicit content is just too much. I know I've watched some people who specifically make lots of adult imagery, I understand that. I love a lot styles here, but vast swaths of content matter are becoming too much for me. I don't want to see so much sexual content. If there was a clean furry art site, I may check it out. But it would have to be active and have something new to look at everyday. While the filter sorts things okay, there are a few things that personally, I find questionable.
So if anyone comes here to find out why they were unwatched, it may be something that just didn't resonate with me well. I may occasionally visit your page and find something I like, comment on, and/or favorite. It's nothing about your skills as an artist. You have lots of faithful watchers and I hope you gain many more.
I'm incredibly sad that for the past few months my SL has been taking a beating. Whether that's been me working a lot, stressing over stuff and avoiding going online outside of obligations, not speaking to my friends, or generally being unavailable. I understand it and am sad to see a lot of things I treasured change, disappear, or go on without me. Them's the breaks. Consequences. It sucks, but it's the truth. I haven't been around for a long while like I was supposed to be. I let stupid stuff and awful interactions with people wreck everything else around me. I appreciate those who still remain and I'm sorry to see others go, but I get it.
Sorry about that. I suck a lot sometimes.

Extended Hiatus
Posted 10 years agoDue to some unfortunate RL circumstances, I will have limited communication. I will attempt to venture to the library six days a week to check messages and reply when I can. Thank you all for your patience.
