Posted 6 years agoA lot of stuff i've gotten as either gifts or commissions from other people. I should really get around to posting all of it at some point. I could stagger it out to one a day and make my account actually active for once.

Looking for people who do 3D modeling
Posted 6 years agoI'm getting training to use a 3D printer next week and I'd like to print out one of my poke characters. Trouble is, obviously that requires a 3D model and I know heck all about 3D modeling. So... does anybody have any suggestions about who I could commission to get a model which I could print?
Opinion about Hoopa char
Posted 7 years agoI have a hoopa character named Saira who is essentially regent over all of space. She is herm like Illia and can grow her cock to unfathomable scales (though definitely not to the Celebi's scale). I've been thinking about Hoopa for a bit and I've wanted to do a bit of stuff with her, seeing as how there's nowhere near enough Hoopa that I've seen for my tastes. Especially hyper Hoopas. Come on, people! It's clearly a space pokemon. How is it not filling all of space?
Anyway, I have an idea for how to make Saira's hyperness unique and that is as follows: Her cock and balls are detached from her body, much like her arms. She is able to make them float about at will, even leaving it some place to retrieve later. She can grow it to any scale from anywhere, meaning she could be halfway across the universe from her dick and make it outgrow a distant galaxy in an instant. Of course, she can also grow her own body too, but she prefers remaining small compared to her cock.
Although not as hyper as Illia, she is growing rapidly. Her size increases exponentially as space grows, so her size is always spiraling unfathomably upwards. Because she is not as powerful as Illia, she would not be able to make her cock remain small. Her minimum size would be somewhat huge, at least mountain size. It would be hard for her to be any smaller than this, so it's much easier for her to just leave her cock sitting on a planet somewhere rather than try to carry it with her. However, every now and again if something starts rubbing against her she'll have a spontaneous growing spurt. In fact, sometimes these events can increase her minimum size. These events can be temporary, but sometimes they're permanent as she finds herself not powerful enough to resist her growth.
Can I have some opinions on these ideas?

So once again my birthday is comming up
Posted 7 years agoOn the 22nd I'll be 23. And for my birthday, i am getting... a new place to live xD
i mean technically I've arranged almost everything having to do with getting the place on my own but hey! It's for my birthday, right?
Actually it's for the sake of a job at Lockheed which I'm starting fairly soon. I'm so happy that I'm going to be gainfully employed for the first time in my life soon, and on top of that it'll actually be using my degree. To say that I'm fortunate is an understatement.

I'm a college grad now
Posted 7 years agoBoy howdy do wee I do not use journals much on this website, or on any website frankly. Guess I just don't feel the need to give general life updates to everyone around me. Here's where I'm at with stuff:
I've graduated college. Woo! Four years (or sixteen+ if you wanna include grade school) of hard work finally have led me to getting an applicable degree, and it's already starting to pay off. I'm in the pre-employment stages of a job with a defense contractor and my starting salary with them is pretty respectable. I won't give the figures to the general public but I'm quite happy to be starting with a career using my degree with a good salary and leaving college with minimal debt that I plan to pay off as quickly as I can manage. To say that I am privileged is drastically underestimating my standing in the world right now, and I'm definitely thankful for where I am.
I'm trying to get the ball rolling on my old pmd world story that I've been working on basically since I was 11. I discovered a website called World Anvil that has been making quite a good place for writing out the details of my world, all the nooks and crannies of its lore, and helping me decide how to approach this crazy thing I've been building for a long time.
A while back I decided to try doing commissions for some extra money and because it would help expose me to other writing ideas. I've concluded after all this time that this wasn't the best idea, as my being occupied with other projects as well as my life in general and my tendency to procrastinate has led me to taking exorbitant amounts of time with these things. So in the future I'm going to keep commissions to a personal basis for both my sake and the sake of the person asking for the commission. This does not mean I'm stopping commissions forever, but I will only take commissions from people I have direct association with, if even that. I don't want to leave people for weeks thinking I've taken their money and done nothing with it. I have other commissions in fact that I need to finish up and will be working to try and do so once and for all now that college is over and done. I apologize to everyone I've kept waiting on these projects, whether previous or current, and I know the length of time I've taken is unacceptable in any industry regardless of need for a good creative process. If I ever decide to do commissions again, I need to figure out a proper work schedule and flipping stick to it.
What else... I guess I clearly haven't been doing much on here lately, and part of that is of course to do with being occupied by other things. I'll likely be looking into posting my PMD stories on a personal website somewhere in the near future once I decide how to put it together. (I'm debating whether or not to use Tumblr, the original place where I had this idea running, but I feel like putting even fanfiction writing just anywhere is bound to get it ripped off somehow.) I'm additionally thinking of starting a Discord server where I can throw out my ideas for this PMD world and see what sticks with people. Lemme know if you'd be interested in that sort of thing.\
So yeah, that's all from me. Looking forward to what the future holds!

Is it stupid to hate art dumps?
Posted 8 years agoI appreciate if you have a lot of art you have stored up and want to get it all posted to your account but honestly... it's just overwhelming when i see a thousand notifications of art from the same person, even if I really obsess over their art. It's like saturating the market, is what it feels like for me. It doesn't seem like it would be that hard to space out your submissions. (although it would be nice if FA had some sort of submission queue system to upload stuff and then post them automatically at certain times).
Also, not related, but I hate those posts you sometimes see on tumblr with the whole "ask me one of these 100 things" scenarios for the same reason. That's too much stuff to process for me to appreciate it!

how do you think plains of existence work?
Posted 8 years agoI'm curious what everyone's theories are. Most people I know subscribe to a theory that, beyond the multiverse, there is nothing but whiteness (which is ironic because that implies light coming from all sides).
My theory is that the plains of existence lay in a variable number of levels and can't really be counted, so I like to believe that the ordering is universe<multiverse<[indeterminate number of plains]<omniverse. Then beyond the omniverse would be time-space, the plain defining where normal matter can exist. THIS is the point at which I would say most things have been outgrown, but I also like to take it up to conceptual stuff like distance (infinity), empty space (void), and entropy itself (which I sometimes call eldritch). Just to clarify, the difference between space and the void is that space technically has itself within it (time-space) and the void is truly empty. I also like to say that these "plains" beyond time-space aren't really plains, but rather a grower becomes those concepts or surpasses them. Becoming so big they can't be measured even by their own understanding of their hugeness would be infinity, becoming so big that empty space cannot exist would be the void, and becoming so big that they suddenly represent the sum total of all energy there is is eldritch.
I know that 9-puzzle also likes to do this thing where his characters "grow" into another layer of existence at subatomic size and subsequently outgrow that as well. I'm not a fan of this as it kind of takes away from the idea of outgrowing entropy making somebody huge, but if I were to use it I would say that since the character is all energy, they can force that energy to spontaneously expand into a bigger existence around them which they can outgrow again and again, over and over and over etc.

my twitter accounts
Posted 8 years agoI'd like to point out that I have three twitter accounts which I am tweeting from quite frequently. Some of you might enjoy following these twitters. My main twitter is one in which i'm trying to avoid liking fetish and nsfw stuff since people can see likes. You can follow it if you want but I won't say the name in this journal. I'll bet you can guess the @ name thought.
Anywho, I have two furry twitters themed around two of my characters and around two fetishes specifically. They're done in the perspective of roleplaying the characters. https://twitter.com/pyrenmonferno is my macro-themed twitter, wherein Pyren talks about his shenanigans as a sun god who grows from worship (spoiler: he's very big). https://twitter.com/ameliamawile is my hyper-twitter wherein Amelia constantly boasts about how big her cock is (spoiler: it's very big). Note that the latter twitter is set to private due to its nsfw nature so if you're interested in Amelia's bigness, follow it and i'll confirm it as soon as I can.
I just wanted to publicize these in case anybody here is interested. I usually try to tweet at least once a day on Pyren's twitter and once every few days on Amelia's twitter, so don't worry about me spamming your feed.

Wow, lots of birthday messages!!!
Posted 8 years agoI forgot Skype did that.
So I got $150 for my birthday
Posted 8 years agoMy family gave me a bunch of cash money for my birthday, knowing I want to buy a Switch. At Christmas last year, I also got $125 in Gamestop gift cards. Basically I have $275, which is enough to afford a Switch.
You wanna know something? I don't think I can afford a Switch, because these fucks at gamestop are only selling them in bundles. No, I don't want to pay four-fucking-hundred dollars for a pack of the Switch, Breath of the Wild, a pro controller, and whatever other tat you're throwing in there that makes it cost four-fucking-hundred. Take careful note of my wording there. This isn't just four hundred dollars. This is four "fucking" hundred dollars, which implies that this deal is bullshit and I just want to buy a Switch, for the love of fuck.

Friend is continuing to struggle with debt
Posted 8 years agotake it from someone who has college scholarships and is still scared about the debt he is going to accumulate because the american educational system is a fucking joke, debt is not fun. And my friend is currently facing a lot of it, but they've made progress. You should really consider donating to them cause they deserve it and their art is really nice!

My birthday in three weeks (an update)
Posted 8 years agoJust thought I'd throw that out there. I'm gonna be 22 on the 22nd. (how very apt.) Also, can I just say that a summer class where you're expected to do three months of work in 6 weeks turns out to be rather annoying, even if it's just anthropology. So that's why my work output has slowed down as of late.
But on the bright side, that class's final will open on the 21st which means I won't have to deal with it on my birthday. Meanwhile, I'm working on a few other things. I have two commissions in the works along with a trade, and i'm working on all three side-by-side to improve my motivation. idk why but i just can't work on the same thing for very long, which i guess is why I like strategy games and programming; they literally throw a hundred things at you to think about. xD
So there's an update for you. Maybe I'll get to post something next week! Who knows? :3

donate to a friend for huge breasts/cock/eggs
Posted 8 years agoFriend of mine, alejandrodelfuego, is doing a donation drive. They could really use the money so you should donate to them if you read this!

also you'll get to inflate this cow's breasts. That's a nice bonus :p
edit: they're also doing one for an astronomically hyper cock, and considering how I feel about those things I suggest you donate to that as well. Or focus your donation on that one. astronomical hyper is awesome, after all.

edit edit: oh, and a third donation drive going now, this one centered around being filled with eggs. I'm gonna promo this one too out of courtesy.

why doesn't this place have group submissions?
Posted 8 years agoI think group submissions should be a standard practice for art submissions on any website, frankly. Inkbunny is wonderful for allowing such a thing, lumping a bunch of images into one submission. Being able to lump every page of a comic or a sequence into one unit removes clutter and, more to the point, makes thumbing through such a group easier.
What I think should happen is a) group submissions be made a thing, and b) there be functionality to add to a submission group after the fact for the sake of staggering uploads.
idk why i felt like posting a journal about that.

what do you think of writing styles (and writing as art)?
Posted 8 years agoThere is something I recently thought about while laying in bed experiencing the fear of death and existentialism (basically an average sunday night). What do you think of how people write and how valuable writing is as an art form? I often feel like writing is under-appreciated due to how widespread it is. It's like the perspective is that, because almost everyone learns how to write in school, then there's no reason why they couldn't write in an artistic way (which they absolutely can, but I'll get to that).
This is not me complaining that my writing is mostly unnoticed and that I feel under-appreciated in general for what I do. Quite the opposite; I regularly look at my FA messages to see somebody has favorited or commented on one of my old written stories, which makes it clear that I do have an audience. What I actually want to do is consider the difference between the perspectives around writing and other forms of art: drawing and music and other things that require an ungodly amount of practice to be good at. (I mention the latter one because that is a skill I can do pretty damn fucking well thanks to 10+ years of work.) Make no mistake, under-appreciation is prevalent around these things as well (usually thanks to people who didn't watch that one Simpsons episode where Homer learned from Homer's mind that Homer can exchange money for goods and SERVICES), but it often feels like the attitude is more prominent around writing.
To explain my point, consider the gulf between the number of people who can write decently and the number of people who can draw decently. The lower ends of those two groups might not be taking home any awards, but those with decent writing skills have them because they need them. Writing is an inherently necessary part of society and is absolutely ubiquitous. This is not so much the case for art, and therefor it can be seen as a specialist skill.
But, in many ways, writing (well) requires a specialist skill as well. Anybody can put words onto paper or type into a text editor, but it takes a lot of forethought to make those words look appealing. Journalism, as an example, involves sorting through a lot of uninteresting information that many people would want to gloss over, but journalists take that information and present it in such a way that our interest is sustained throughout an article.
The other thing I want to point out is how different everyone's writing style is. It's easy to believe that writing doesn't have much style to it when the rules to writing properly are so well defined, but consider that everyone has different preferences for what information they want to present, in what perspective to present them in, how much dialogue they add or avoid and all sorts of preferences for how the story flows. It's honestly staggering when you think about it. I should point out that art styles vary wildly as well and, if anything, this only supports the idea that writing is equally as valid as art.
Perhaps the most interesting thing about writing is that it can present a vivid scene to the reader equally as interesting to observe as a picture. People often talk about how wonderful artwork is because of how descriptive it can be, how well it can establish a scene and the events therein, and artwork IS good at this. Some people would say writing isn't as good at this simply because it doesn't show visual detail, but you have to remember that a well described scene can not only give somebody these details but can also allow them to infer even more amazing detail. The liberty of imagination granted to readers by the lack of a picture can often be a powerful tool for the writer to use (although, as I've been saying, these things can and do apply to art as well).
And fuck, it certainly takes as long to get a properly written story right as it does a piece of artwork. Artwork can take hours and even days and writers can just mash the keys for a few minutes and have a story, but you can be absolutely sure that story will probably be shit. The same goes for an artist who just scribbles on a canvas for about a minute; it might look good but it's definitely not the best that artist can do, and you can only imagine what they can do with that scribble after an hour or more with it. I've recently been making an effort to try and get writing out faster, to make my work more consistent. That, if anything, is a bit of a hindrance as much as I feel it helps because I don't give myself as much time to review and edit my work as I normally would. Although, at the same token, I'm trying to push myself to improve my work pipeline so I can get edits done faster so there is that.
I guess what I'm trying to say is that I feel it's important for us to remember that writing is just as valid as other forms of art. As I said, it can be easy not to appreciate writing when it's so ubiquitous, but people who write for artistry put in a soul-crushing amount of effort to make their work good, and if the work is good then it's absolutely worth giving the time of day, at least as much as art.

delaying friday's story to sunday/monday
Posted 8 years agoEither on sunday or monday I'll be releasing the story I intended to release on friday but never managed to finish due to a midterm assignment that's taking me some time. It's mostly done now apart from making a diagram that I've had to take a roundabout path to making. Basically my classes have pulled the usual stuff that schools do when it's spring break: throw all the midterms at us. Once that's over i'll have plenty of time to do some more writing.
may or may not get a story done this week
Posted 8 years agoSo far my story writing has gone better since I decided to push myself to update more frequently. Problem is I'm not sure if I'll keep it up, at least for this week. I have big homework assignments in two of my classes, a quiz at the end of the week in another, and a freaking midterm project in my fourth one. I'd say my schedule is pretty full. If I find time I may try to write something quick. Just wanted to throw that out there.
How I'll be doing my writing from now on
Posted 8 years agoI really need to get into the routine of regularly writing things if I want to fufill my creative desires, and if I want to make writing commissions look worth it. So, going forward, I'm going to make it a goal of posting a new story every friday. Most likely I'll be putting this into place next week, but I have a WIP i'm working on that I might be able to post today. Do note, however, that not all of these posts will be nsfw and some of them may be very short. At the very least, I will be posting a new story every friday.
I'm also thinking about how I'm going to approach commissions in the future since I still really want to do them. In the very near future, they're gonna be the only way I can afford to do stuff like support on patreon and buy commissions. Rather than what I have now, I think I'm just going to go with a PWYW system where I determine how much to work on a piece depending on what is offered. I can say at the very least that I will charge a $10 minimum, which will afford the commissioner a story of several thousand words. My goal with commissions in the future will be to get small ones done in a week and bigger ones done within two weeks.
Now, obviously because I'm a college student and can get caught up in homework/stress, I might not always be able to fulfill a Friday obligation. But god damn it, I need to stop being so lazy about this stuff. I have a lot of things I want to write but I just let the idea documents sit around on my computer without ever being touched. I'm going to get into a proper writing groove, I swear to god.

Improperly titled journals
Posted 8 years agoYou know, one peeve I have (and this applies to myself, as well) is journals that aren't properly titled in accordance to their subject matter. For example, a journal could say something like "is this worth it" and I wonder/worry if the artist is in a depressed mood and is thinking about quitting the artistic medium, only to find they're just asking about some new equipment like a computer or something of that nature. It's just clickbait-y, when you think about it.
I'm not one to judge somebody for how they write (unless they use improper grammar or separate their paragraphs wrong) but, just... ngh, it really urks me when the subject matter of a journal is not properly conveyed by a title. That's the point of the title, after all!
