Posted 11 years agoTo all the friends i've made over the years in the fandom i wanted to extend this reminder that no i am not dead nor have i left the fandom,as of late i have just been very busy trying to find out what i want to do with my life right now and am stuck between going into computers with something i happen to be naturally skilled at or to continue with my current profession as an at home embroiderer . Aside from that life has been relatively quiet for me with the exception of having a few conventions planned and trying to make plans for others. I will be at anthrocon this year as well as being a vendor so if you want to see what i do in my spare time come find me
To MLP Lovers,Haters, and the people who just dont care
Posted 13 years agoThis is not a rant nor a complaint but i would like to make something perfectly clear from my own personal perspective. My Little Pony:Friendship is Magic or as most people refer to it as "A children's show is JUST A SHOW,there is far too much bantering and bickering back and forth between the folks who appreciate the show and the things that it teaches,some of which humanity as a whole need to learn again and the people who are steadfast in their belief that the show was meant ONLY for little girls. I'd just like to start of with saying there are many parents who enjoy the show not because they watched it out of their own accord but perhaps because their little three year old daughter watches it and they watched it with her as a family.Now another topic i'd like to touch base on is directed more towards bronies than anything,we as bronies (Yes I am one myself) enjoy the show for the story it tells,the characters and the moral lessons it teaches and several bronies enjoy creating fan art of the show to show our appreciation or our interpretation of the show but do we REALLY need pr0n of it in our faces every time we turn on our computers or look at FA? I think not.If you want to draw pr0n of ponies in your spare time that's great,have fun with it but in the name of celestia dont broadcast perverted fantasies on the internet where a lot of people would rather NOT see it and before anyone spouts "Rule 34" or "The Internet Was Made For Porn" no it wasnt,The "Rules of the internet" were made by some knucklehead with too much time on his hands and the internet was made as a network of transferring information across the globe not so people could see sex smut at every turn. Any kid can enter in a fake birthday and gain access to adult rated images that their parents would be severely against. One final thing i'd like to cover and this is to everyone out there who has it in their little head that anyone who watches MLP:FiM is a mentally suppressed adult or gay,you are WRONG in so many levels.Would you judge your best friend for watching Ed,Edd & Eddy because it's a cartoon meant for children and it is beyond less than mentally stimulating,would you claim someone to be gay because they are a fan of spongebob who along with patrick were meant to be gay,the show in which so many people have come to oppose and reject is actually for this generation very important because while it may be classified as a "Childrens show to many of you out there it teaches us all many moral lessons about society that in this day and age have been lost. So before you swing the verbal sword at another show or fandom ask yourself a question "Would they do the same thing to you with no ulterior motive?
Post Furbowl
Posted 14 years agoI'm finally out of bed and able to move again after being stuck in my room for most of the week with god knows what attacking my system since i got home sunday from the delaware furbowl. Good news is what i caught didnt keep me down too long,bad news is i feel extremely stuffed up still. Now on to the furbowl reviews. As with RyujiKimura my furbowl cherry was popped as this furbowl was my very first and I am very glad I was able to attend as i was able to meet many new furs and make a great deal more new friends,one of the highlights was getting Uncle Kage to take some time out of his wine drinking schedule to talk with me. Along with some furs I already knew like

LittleW0lf I was able to meet some amazing other people like 
RyujiKimura,
BaltoRacing and 
SacrificerPS3. Aside from AnthroCon itself this by far has been one of the best furry experiences I have had to date,my only regret is that it may be some time before i can attend again

Posted 14 years agoToday is a bitter sweet day,for today PhantomWolf my first fursuit which I have loved since the day I got it is being redone by 
SexySnowKitty and he will now be brandishing a brand new look and color scheme,moving jaw,refurbished tail,new hand and foot paws and sleeves. He will still maintain the same structure for the head and the eyes so he doesn't lose the entire design of his original creator. The new PhantomWolf will be debut at Anthrocon 2012 and if things work well he will be sporting an entirely new uniform which portrays his personality better.

A cure for PCD?!?!
Posted 14 years agoWell,I have figured out that PCD CAN NOT be cured but I have found a method to stave off the dreary effects of PCD. One of the most epic furs i met at Anthrocon (You know who you are) had mentioned that him and a friend might be going to furfright and me and my father who had accompanied me to AC talked about going to FF and have decided that unless any of our exterior plans change he and I will be going to FF. While it isnt a cure for the blasted disease that is Post Con Depression it does help,if you are trying to get through the case of PCD the thing that you need to do is something similar to what our good o'l Uncle Kage told us all to do (No, nothing about mustering the strength to raise a finger XD) What I am now learning to do to avoid PCD is to not think about what happened in the past but to look forward to your next convention and to begin planning for it,it will help keep you occupied and keep your mind off of the PCD crud
PCD SUCKS
Posted 14 years agoWell,this was my very first time going to Anthrocon and I can most certainly say without a doubt AC was A BLAST. I met so many people who were beyond phenomenally friendly and overall absolutely awesome,meeting people like coopertom,syber and lucky and having the honor of cruising around the con with these people truly made this con memorable for me and it looks a lot like i'm going to be coming back again next year. I suppose the only thing that just was horrible about AC was the fact that it had to end in such a short amount of time and now I have begun to suffer from Post Con Depression more commonly known as PCD and I wish that I would be able to hang out with the awesome people I met during this incredible experience.
