Does anyone know any fursuit makers? I've been trying to order a partial fursuit (head, hand paws, feet paws and tail) for MFF this year but the people the I've tried ordering from won't respond to me. I've tried OneFurAll, MadeFurYou, ShadyCreations, KilcodoCostumes already. Does anyone know anyone else?

To show that I'm still alive, I'm going to be posting the art that I've commissioned other artists to make for me. I guess posting this journal would do the same thing but I want to showcase their work. NOTE: No, I've not forgotten about the artwork for others that I said I would make. I'm not an artist but I can say that I really understand artist block. It's hard finding inspiration to put pencil to paper.

I promised to make some request art for some people and just in case you thought that I've forgotten about you, I haven't. Drawing has just become more of a chore to me lately. I have drawings that I still need to upload that I haven't yet because I don't like the way they look. I'm my own worst critic (as are we all) but I just wanted to let people know that I haven't forgotten about them

I've been back from Midwest Fur Fest since yesterday but I was kind of lazy tired so I didn't write a journal until now I had a good time while I was there and I definitely want to go again next year (in fursuit or at least partial). I saw a lot of artists there including  thornwolf  rickgriffin  yifferfox  blyzzarde  farorenightclaw  ebonyleopard  ritts  iggi  gideon  modemredpill  gillpanda and I commissioned  iggi  blyzzarde  yifferfox and  gideon I got whipped unexpectedly and I would have beat the dude into the ground for doing that but I didn't. I took pictures and a few videos of my time there. I was even invited to be a panelist next year (though the offer may have been in jest but an invitation is an invitation )

I'm excited about going to my first furry convention! The person that I commissioned to make my partial fursuit hadn't started on it so I requested a refund. I received the 30% deposit back in my PayPal account last night. At least I'll have some money to spend at the convention now Maybe I can buy some hand paws ears and a tail and get my face painted at the convention. I may not have my partial fursuit but that doesn't mean I can't still have fun at a furry convention

I've got my hotel room booked, my con badge ready and my registration complete. Next friday-sunday I'll be attending Midwest Furfest (the third largest furry convention in the world). It will be my first time attending a furry convention. I'm still waiting on the partial fursuit that I ordered. I don't know what to expect so I just expect to have a good time and possibly make some new friends ^_^

Thanks to  quentixstarwing I have now completed a goal that I written about ages ago: being watched by people with usernames including every letter in the alphabet. I never thought I would ever have more than 20 watchers.. Thank you all for adding me to your watchlist. I'm really trying to get better for you guys :)

Who are some good reference sheet artists? I'm planning on buying a fursuit and I'd like to have a reference sheet to show the fursuit maker what my character looks like.

Today's my birthday!

I'm thinking of getting a chibi commission but I don't know who does good chibi work. Who do you guys recommend?

Well I have a new job today was my first day. There is so much information that I have to process (figuratively and literally). I have no idea when I'll be able to upload my scribbles

I've been seriously thinking about becoming a fireman. I'm going to go down to a firehouse to find out what I need to do to become one. During this time, I will most certainly be away from the internet for an un-determined amount of time. I just want to let people know in advance.

Frank Frazetta, the father of fantasy art, passed away. I can't believe he's gone. He was one of my all time favorite artists and he got me interested in art. He masterfully painted images of Conan and Tarzan and showed the world you don't need to be a master at photoshop to be a master artist. He will be sorely missed. May he rest in peace

I have experienced some of the rudest people I've ever encountered on this site and DA. I treat people with respect and dignity and people decide to talk to me disrespectfully and for no reason. I haven't done anything to deserve this treatment and frankly, I'm sick of it!!! I try not to let it bother me but it does and I don't have to tolerate it. There are people that joke around with me and I joke around with them and we all know we're just having fun and that's fine with me. It's those people (trolls and sometimes it's artists and people that think they're superior to others and believe that they have the right to be disrespectful to anyone and everyone around them) that are blatantly rude and mean to me that I'm writing this about. So I'm going to say this:

If I am treated disrespectfully, rudely in a way that I feel is not a joke or in a way that is very aggrevating or annoying ONE MORE TIME I'll leave both sites forever whether I'm finished with my workload or not. There have been so many wonderful people that have made this site and DA wonderful places to be and it pains me to think of not being able to laugh and talk with those people especially when I need to make a really witty comment about something but I refuse to sacrifice my dignity any longer. I truly hope that it doesn't come to that though. I'm already planning on leaving this site anyway but I don't want to have to leave earlier than I'd planned.

Why do people ask you for your opinion only to get mad at you when you give it to them?

I was chatting on blackplanet chat with an artist friend of mine. He's good enough to be a professional artist and he asked me if I think that he should pursue a career in art, specifically selling paintings. I told him that I think that he should persue his passion and look for jobs that can utilize his artistic talents but I also told him that he should also learn something else just in case his artistic dreams don't come true that way he'll have something to fall back on. He called me a pessimist and said I was bogus for not having faith in him. I told him that I did have faith in him but selling art is hard especially in this economy and while it's nice to have, art is not a necessity that people NEED to have. People are spending their money on more important things. I said he should learn other marketable skills so he can supplement his income until he gets his big break but he just didn't want to hear that. I was just trying to give my friend some realistic advice and now he's mad. He and I tend to disagree on a lot of things so it's nothing new for him to get mad at me it just baffles me why he asks me things when he knows how I'll respond and he still gets upset.
