About a week and a half after I move to Oregon a wildfire sparks up about half a mile away from me forcing me to evacuate, that's one hell of a welcome to Oregon

For the past year and a half I’ve been working on getting my house ready to be put up for sale, my house sold back in April, it just closed escrow and movers have already come and taken most of my stuff so now all I have to do today is load what’s left into the truck and fifth wheel and make the long drive to my new home. Goodbye California and hello Oregon, on one hand I’m sad because I’m leaving my birth state and the city I’ve spent over half of my life in, and on the other hand I’m happy because I’m starting a new chapter in my life and I’ll be way more closer to my boyfriend.

A few months ago my grandpa fell and broke his hip, ever since then he’s been in and out of the hospital due to complications, at one point even his kidneys stopped working for a while, I just got a call from my dad telling me that my grandpa has just passed away..... and here I was thinking that 2021 would be better....

So here’s to 2022 I guess
