Exciting news!
Posted 11 years agoTalked with my mate earlier this evening and received some pretty good news from him, sounds like he may have found a job thru another friend of ours, who lives in Aurora, Indiana! My mate is trying to sell two of his other vehicles for money to get down there in a couple of months, and is hoping not too long after that, that I make my move over that way too. My mate will be looking at either apartments to rent from, or possibly a house to rent, and once I get down there and settled in we try and get our friend to move in with us! I'm really kind of excited for this to happen, although my initial hopes were to move to Florida, but Indiana would be a nice change away from Nebraska. Just have to get some things sorted out here first before I pack up and move out of state.

Ok ok, enough already! I think I'm done creating characters
Posted 11 years agoShortly before the end of 2014 I had another wild idea like I usually do as a writer, and thusly I created two more fursona characters and more than likely these will be the last ones to join my already sizable clan of fuzzbutts.
First off I would like to introduce you all to Cheese, my inflatable German Shepherd character. I had the idea of having an inflatable fursona for a while now as to why I named him after a dairy product, well there's a story behind that I will shorten up for you all. I was at work one day unloading one of our dairy/frozen foods truck, I was hauling in a dairy pallet into the cooler and I had to maneuver the pallet into the cooler and set it down in front of the other pallets already in there. Apparently at some point one of the sticker labels on a case of cheese got stuck on to my shirt that I wasn't aware of until a bit later, when I had co-workers joking with me if I had changed my name. Asking what they were talking about one of them pointed to the label on my shirt, and well as they say "The rest is history", and that is how Cheese was born. LOL xP
Cheese the Inflatable German Shepherd
Name: Cheese
Species: Inflatable German Shepherd
Age: 21
Sex: Male
Demeanor: fun loving, silly, outgoing
Likes: being inflated nice and big, having his valve played with, being deflated, being rode, the threat of being popped along with being popped
Dislikes: cold weather
Appearance: Cheese is an inflatable German Shepherd; he has the normal tan, and dark brown fur markings like all German Shepherds, except his eyes are green in color. He does have one discernible marking on him, he has a large, brown diamond shaped marking that runs vertically down his chest. He has an inflation valve in the center of his belly, and he has also been known to sport a valve on the tip of his tail as well.
Details: Cheese is a 100% inflatable toy German Shepherd; he enjoys being inflated to massive sizes, he is able to withstand the large amounts of pressure by reconfiguring the vinyl structure of his squeaky body by adjusting to new pressures, without popping, but this does not mean he cannot be popped by other means.
Cheese is able to be punctured by various objects, but due to a molecular bond in his vinyl, he is able to mend himself from the most damaging of puncture wounds in just a few minutes.
Cheese enjoys being; inflated, heat stretched, deflated, popped, and rode down, and he always comes back for more.
My final fursona character actually came to me in a dream I had shortly after MFF. He is a Drusky which is a Dragon/Husky hybrid, named Fabian. Cheese is actually Fabian's mate!
Name: Fabian
Species: Drusky
Age: 24
Sex: Male
Demeanor: friendly, lovable
Likes: being with his friends, his mate, and partying
Dislikes: N/A
Appearance: Fabian is a Dragon/Husky hybrid; he has the regular Husky markings, but instead of black and white fur his colors are crimson, and white. He has the normal light blue eyes like all Huskies. He has a pair of dragon wings growing from his back that is crimson colored, with a whitish membrane, and he has two horns growing out of his head that sweep back over his head.
Details: Fabian has a mate, Cheese the Inflatable German Shepherd. Fabian loves Cheese and is very faithful to him. Fabian also loves to please and tease his mate since he is an inflatable. He also loves to party and hang out with his mate and their friends.
So there you have it, my final two fursona characters to join my already large family. <3
Tico is possibly a Femboy ^^
Posted 11 years agoDuring MFF last weekend I saw numerous cute fursuiters running about the hotel wearing really adorable skirts, I then asked my mate Inola if I would look good wearing a skirt, once I got Tico's fursuit. He thought that I would look very cute in a skirt! First off, I have always been slightly girlish, and I have actually dressed drag a few times in my life. Secondly, I do have a decent figure to actually wear, and pull off wearing a skirt. So I have decided once I get my fursuit made, I will be actively looking into buying a skirt or two for Tico to wear at cons. What do you all think of my idea?
MFF 2014: A Con to Remember
Posted 11 years agoThis year's MFF was, crazy (in both good and bad sense) amazing! First off I just want to say how happy I was to attend this year, I got to enjoy the company of my friends and the company of lots of amazing furs! I left early early Thursday morning after I got home from work with my friend
biohusky and we arrived in Rosemont around 2ish that afternoon, later on that evening I waited for my good friend
rascalov to show up at the con hotel. After he made it to the con from his place in Crown Point, IN we both hopped into my vehicle and made a 4 hour trek into the heart of Michigan to pick up my mate
foxlover_h at his house and then do another 4 hours back to Chicago to check into our room at the Hilton before 5 am!Friday we went over to the con hotel to register that morning and we wandered the con, either hitting up the dealers den or artist alley for a little bit, then wandered the rest of the hotel, taking pics of the fursuiters running about the place. Later on we met up with our friends
hotrodwolf and his mate
morphy_darkstone and hung out for a bit, ate some Chinese take-out and when they mean "large order" they are not fucking around! I ordered a large beef lo mein and got a carry-out container the size of a 12v battery (the batteries that Power Wheels vehicles run on)! And if you order a large soft-drink, expect to get a 2 liter bottle of pop! Lol.Later after eating; the mate, Rasc and I were invited to an inflatable room party hosted by
Ipequey where there was plenty of booze, and lots of squeakies! Met up with another friend
rikku_lion I also got to meet some other amazing furs such as the sweet dolphin
cyrin (and I still never got a pic of him in his adorable suit) D:, met
thesweetiger, and got to meet a friend of mine from Singapore, I had been talking to online for years on Messenger
smyle. It was great getting to finally meet him in furson after all these years, and get to talk muzzle to muzzle, he even brought me a present; he gave me one of the rare, and hard to obtain Lion King beach balls, Intex put out several years back for only a year. This really tickled me to receive such a rare toy from such a wonderful person, Smyle if you read this, thank you so much for the beach ball, and finally getting to meet you in person, you are a really awesome fur to talk to, and a great friend, sorry I wasn't able to say goodbye to you after the con. I hope your travel back home was safe?Saturday Inola, Rasc and I hit up Giordano's for lunch as we did last year, again we missed the fursuit parade. Made it back to the con hotel, I decided to get a couple of new badges done, and a new one for my mate, then bought some things from the Den; which included a Galaxy Quest themed shirt, an adorable Rainbow Dash sitting plushie, and my first furry porn novel, signed by two of its authors! Hung out some more with Hotrod and Morphy. Later on in the evening Inola and I stopped by
ElkiUnico's room and got to hang out with him and his mate
ShadowRunner1 for a little while, then later on Inola and I met up with Rasc, and one of the UK furs whom I didn't get properly introduced to, and we had some drinks at the bar and chatted for a bit. After the bar we met up with yet another good friend
Vixmuyo and talked some more until about ten till one when the fire alarms started to go off and we were asked to evacuate the hotel! Shuffling outside into the cold every furry was greeted by lots and lots of flashing lights of police cars, fire trucks, ambulances, a decontamination unit, and a few FBI squad cars! Why? Because some asshat thought it would be fun to intentionally break open a glass container of chlorine powder in one of the stairwells in the hotel, trying to get tons of people sick, or worse. Reported that 19 people had been rushed to the hospital due to small exposure to the gasses, and from updates sounds like everyone will make a full recovery! It pisses me off and also saddens me that someone who intentionally tried to pull this kind of bullshit at a furry con, in the hopes to harm us. What really pisses me off about this thing is that not only were furs targeted but there were several families there with children, not to mention several other people staying there with their pets for the annual dog show that was happening that weekend! I truly hope that the police nab this worthless piece of waste of human space, and lock their asses up in prison for the rest of their natural born days to rot! In hindsight there was a little humor to be found in this atrocity, I overheard numerous furs outside the hotel joke that "Furries really do know how to party" and even Rasc had a little humors anecdote saying, "Furries really DO ruin everything!".
Sunday morning slept in a little bit, decided to hit the alley and den one last time before they closed, tried to get a commission in to an artist that I had picked out for a piece I wanted done of Inola and I riding together on the back of a PP husky toy in a pool, missed my chance as he was filled up, he said he would've like to have gotten a couple more commissions in that weekend, but he had started to come down with a bug, and the evac early that morning put the breaks on that deal as well, but I did get his email and FA information so I can get a hold of him in a later date. After that I browsed the Bad Dragon booth for a few minutes, and I kinda bought something from their booth to take home and try out. *blushes deeply and turns away shyly*
Later on; Inola, Rasc, Hotrod, Morphy and I went out to eat at a local pancake house and had quite possibly the best service I have had anywhere in the the three years I have gone to the con, and lots of yummy noms! Later on back at the hotel Hotrod, Rasc and I decided to get a photo shoot in of our Puffy Paw wolves together in the atrium part of the con hotel. It was fun getting to see numerous furs come by to check out and admire the wolfies, several of them actually decided to play around on them and had fun! It was one of those proud moments in my life that I got to share my toy and my love for inflatables with others. I freaking love my wolf!
The rest of Sunday night was pretty quite as we all knew what the following day would bring. I did however get to try out Hotrod's "modded" PP wolf, all I can say is, Murrrrrrr. Hotrod if you are reading this, if I let you borrow my tiger for a bit I would love to borrow that wolf! *sits and wags happily*
Monday morning, dreaded dreaded Monday. Packing up, saying goodbyes with tear-filled hugs as usual. It's always so hard to say goodbye to so many wonderfully, crazy and kind furs, saying goodbye to friends until the next time. I was actually lucky enough to have Inola come home with me for a couple of days after the con, I got to take him out to eat at my favorite Mexican restaurant that is the inspiration for my fursona's name, and I also introduced the fox to his very first Runza sandwich (a Nebraska made sandwich), also it helped relieve some of the depression of PCD having him here for a couple of days, although I cried when I had to drop him off at the train station for his train back to Michigan, I ended up bawling when I got back home, and was hugging and cuddling my PP wolf for comfort.
All in all it was a great con, even despite the incident Sunday morning, but us furs rolled on through the day like nothing had happened, business as usual, because we are furries, and we won't let nothing stop us!
Here's some number totals for the con:
-The convention experienced its highest attendance to date, an estimated 4,600 attendees from around 15 different countries.
-1,132 participants in the Fursuit Parade.
-The MFF charity, Critter Camp Exotic Pet Sanctuary, was able to raise $11,000 by charitable donations from the attendees and an additional $20,000 was donated from Midwest Furry Fandom, Inc.
This is why I love being a furry!
MFF Countdown Begins
Posted 11 years agoThe MFF countdown has officially started for me! I'll be getting things lined up and ready to roll out as soon as I get home from work tonight; get home, take a quick shower, and put on some fresh clothes, then wait for my friend Ty
to show up at my house, then we can head on out and drive the rest of the early morning hours to the con. After that I need to head over to Crown Point, IN to pick up my friend Rascalov
then drive up into Michigan to pick up my mate Inola
and then head back to the hotel to check in, then time for this wolfy to relax for a bit before going to register. I am super excited to go this year, and I am looking forward to spending time with Inola, Rasc, Ty, Hotrod
, his mate Morphy
, Unico
, hopefully get to see Expy
there this year, Rikku
, Lobo
, hopefully Ipequey
again, as well as several others! Just wish that Syro
, his mate Seph
, and Mac
could be here to join us in the craziness! Late Thanksgiving Journal: What I'm Thankful For
Posted 11 years agoKinda missed out on the whole Thanksgiving Day festivities and whatnot's since I had to work for a few hours yesterday for Black Friday, but I thought I'd make a quick journal on the things I am thankful for.
Firstly, I am thankful for my parents, without which had they not met each other all those years ago I probably wouldn't be here, and to be a part of numerous peoples lives.
I am thankful for my family; my sister, my nephew and my niece, my extended family like my best friend Alan, and my sister's friend Carla who I both consider to be part of my family as they've been around for years with us.
I am thankful for the rest of my family; like my grandparents even though I am down to one now, my aunts and uncles, my cousins.
I am thankful for my adorable, silly, and sometimes stubborn mate, Inola without him I'd be living unhappy and alone. He completely means the world to me and I love him to the moon and back!
I am thankful for the furry friends I have gotten to make over the past few years. There are so many of you too name but I just wanted to let you know that each of you has made a difference in my life, and you guys are the best! You are my furry family and I love you guys to no end!
I am thankful for my inflatables, my squeaky children. Without them life would seem dull and uninteresting, having them around in my life makes me happy and always puts a smile on my face. Just getting to hold them, cuddle them, hug and kiss them makes me feel better when I've had a crappy day.
I am thankful for my job. Granted it's not the best job in the world, and it pisses me off sometimes, but I have one. Being someone who has faced being unemployed and not having the money to do things you would like to do it really is nice to be back at my old store and be around things I am familiar with. Without my job I wouldn't be able to buy inflatables, I wouldn't be able to attend furmeets or cons to see you guys, and I wouldn't be able to save up for my fursuit.
MFF is almost upon us!
Posted 11 years agoSo, whose all going this year? Hope to either meet up or run into some of you fuzz butts there.
I love you Inola
Posted 11 years agoTo my dearest foxy,
I know you are going through a tough time at the moment and all, and it's got you feeling down, but know this. I will always stick by your side no matter what; I will stand by you through everything life throws our way, you mean the world to me Inola and I love you with all of my heart. I know life sucks and it's not always good during our worst times, but I am always going to be here for you love, I will always be there to cheer you on, to support you in your dreams, to lift you up when life knocks you down, I am always going to do my best as your mate to help you through life. Ever since we met we have became really good friends, and now it's even more special having you in my life as my mate! We have both been through a lot in our lives, separately and together as mates, and I want to continue going through life with you by my side.
You make me the happiest wolf on the planet right now; you give me the reason to get up every day and work and try my hardest, you are the one that makes my life worth living for each and every day. I'm not sure if I say it enough when we get to talk to one another, but I love you so much my foxy! You give me so much to look forward to, and I hope I do the same for you. I've done my best at getting you to trust a little bit more, to cheer up a little bit more, and I am going to keep on working on getting you to be more positive, more trusting, and happier with each passing day.
You are the one I want to share the rest of my life with, share my dreams with, and I want to be the one you share your dreams with, share your life with. I love you so very much Inola, please do not ever forget that.

My mate
foxlover_h Inola,
rascalov Who will you hang out with during the convention?
The mate, Rasc,

hotrodwolf, hopefully
rikku_lion and
lobowolf again. How can I find you?
If you know any of these crazy furs up top here, then you will have successfully found me. ;3
Are there any panels you might be attending
I'm gonna try and attend a couple. If there's an inflatable Meet and Greet, I will definitely go to that.
Are you attending any stage or public performances?
Don't know.
Will you be suiting?
I won't have my suit yet. Hopefully next year's MFF I will have my suit! ;3
Which suit(s) are you bringing?
I'll just be wearing my tail is all.
Do you draw?
Ha, I wish I could!
Are you taking commissions or trades?
see above
How old are you?
38
How tall are you?
6' 2"
Can I talk to you?
Of course!
Can I touch you?
Not sure how the mate will take that. Best to play it safe, unless he says otherwise lol.

What’s your goal for the con this year?
Get a commission piece or two made, maybe have a couple more new badges made, and another Certified tag or two made. Hit up a room party or two, hang out with my friends, and at least try and put aside a little bit of time with my mate.

Thursday - Monday
If I see you, how should I get your attention?
Yell out, "Tico! Inflatable!" I will come running in your direction. XD

Wandering the Dealers Den, the Artist Alley, maybe off getting a bite to eat with my friends, possibly a panel, or just wandering around the con.
What/where will you be eating?
I know at least one of the days we will be eating at Giordano's, best deep dish pizza around! I wouldn't mind going back to the pancake house the lot of us hit up on Sunday afternoon, last year.
Can I come with you for food/fun etc?
The more the merrier as they always say.
Can I take your picture?
Why would you want a picture of a plain old, boring hooman when you have hundreds of cute fursuiters running about you can take pictures of?? Lol
Fuck you Apple, I'm going back to Droid
Posted 11 years agoThank you once again Apple for fucking me over! You seem to enjoy doing that to your customers/users more often these days, now that Jobs is gone. Your most recent iOS8 update won't allow me to update my iHeartRadio app on my phone now, because of this I now have a worthless app sitting on my phone, so hey, guess what?? I can't listen to my dubstep stations I added on there anymore! Thanks! I don't enjoy listening to that kind of music anyway! And like hell I'm going to try and find and or create a similar station on my Spotify app, which (I know, for free) keeps cutting in between every third or forth song to play a 30 second commercial. What are you going to do next, make it so I can't play any of my games, either?? In conclusion as soon as my contract runs out here next month I will be switching back over to Droid. Not sincerely, A pissed off iPhone user.
PS, Go choke on a dick!
Spooky October ish spooky: TMI Tue role-reversal
Posted 11 years agoAhhh, October! It's that time of year when the leaves on the trees change color, cooler, crisp air, hot apple cider, football on tv (if you're a sports fan), and of course when all the spooky and scary stuff comes out to play.
I am going to do a reversal TMI Tuesday questionnaire today, where I ask you, my friends the question(s)! This should be an interesting and fun experiment, and to show you how much of a sport I am, I'll even leave you with my own answers!
1. What is your favorite part about October?
2. What is your favorite scary movie to watch, during this month?
3. What is your favorite ghost story you have heard?
4. Do you know of any haunted locales, or ghost stories in your own town?
My answers:
1. I love the changing leaves, and trips to the pumpkin patch to drink hot apple cider.
2. One of my favorite scary movies to watch is John Carpenter's 1982 version of "The Thing". That movie scared the shit out of me when I was a kid, followed up with the 2011 prequel to the Thing, John Carpenter's "The Fog", and the original b&w "Night of the Living Dead".
3. To be honest, I don't actually have a favorite, I've liked a lot of ghost stories I have heard over the years.
4. Growing up in Lincoln there was two essential books that every kid needed to have on their bookshelf; The Guide to the Ghosts of Lincoln, and The Guide to the Ghosts of Lincoln (Second edition). There are numerous places all across Lincoln that are reportedly haunted, but two stories that stick out in my mind the most both take place on Sheridan Blvd. one of the stories is called Hobbitsville. Down in the ritzier part of Sheridan are the rustic older mansion style homes that have been around that part of the city for 70-80 years, the story goes that one of the houses down there is haunted by a little girl who drowned in the backyard pool of one of the houses, and from time to time her wet footprints will show up on the concrete walk-path that encompasses the pool. Creepy thing is that her footprints show up anytime of the year, so it could be the dead of winter, with the pool emptied, and her prints would show up. Another creepy thing is at one point a couple had moved into the home, they didn't have children and they would find the prints out on the back patio, and sounds of a little girl laughing.
The other house that is reported to be haunted is where Sheridan Blvd. ends and merges into Calvert Street. The house sits back up on a small inclined hill; on a corner lot where Sheridan and Calvert meet, the house itself seems to sit in shadows and has an air around it that seems thick and heavy, even in the broadest of daylight the house is covered in shadow. Anyway, the story goes is that a teenage girl was murdered in the backyard of the house, before her parents moved away they put up a wrought iron silhouette cut-out in memory of their late daughter, in the backyard. After they had moved away and a new family moved in the new family started reports of hearing a girl screaming for help coming from the back of the house, and cold spots in the yard. Another story goes, is that if you are driving eastbound down Calvert Street at nighttime and happen to be looking into the backyard of the house, it is said that you can see the silhouette cut-out appear to be "running" around the backyard.
TMI Oh the joys!
Posted 11 years agoIt's Tuesday again, and you know what that means? Yes, FREE PANCAKES FOR EVERYONE! Ask me a question(s) that has been burning in the back of your mind, and I will answer it. How simple is that? Are you ready? Then let's begin...
Midwest Fur Fest 2014
Posted 11 years agoFor anyone interested, I'll be attending again this year! Unfortunately, it looks like I will have to be staying at one of the overflow hotels nearby, which has its advantages and disadvantages; disadvantage is that the last two years I've always stayed at the Hyatt, it's going to feel strange not staying in the hotel this year. Advantage, I do believe that the overflow hotels, at least one of them should have an indoor pool, and I'm gonna make damn sure I am going to pack up a squeaky or two, and make use of that pool! So far it seems like several of my friends from Nebraska are going to going this year, so I hope to see you guys there at some point, hopefully get some time to hang out. And I know that some of my other friends will be present again this year, looking forward to seeing them again and spending time with them as well. I'm definitely excited for this year's con.
My mate. And vape smoking.
Posted 11 years agoWell, it looks like Inola won't be making it down to see me at the end of the month like we were planning. So it looks like I have to wait until almost the end of the year to see my love, at MFF. *sad wolfy goes and sits in the corner with his head down, and droops my ears, to cry*
On another note, I'm thinking of taking up the vaping life.
Also found a new song I like, The Glitch Mob "Fortune Days". I'm torn between this and Flux Pavilion's Blow the Roof song, as Tico's theme song. ><

Fursuit: The Beginning
Posted 11 years agoWell everyone you are looking at one excited wolf at the moment, I got a note back from my suit makers with a quote for my suit. All I need to do now is give them measurements, my already made duct tape dummy, and my deposit to get things rolling. They quoted me for $2180, the minimum monthly payment is $150, but I think I will try to pay $200 and if all goes as planned I should have my suit paid off at the end of January next year, and I hope to have it in my paws before Megaplex next year so I can debut it down in Orlando! I is so excited! *does a silly happy dance*
Happy wolf is happy!!!!!
Posted 11 years agoI'm definitely looking forward to next month, my mate is coming to visit me for a week! *jumps up and down and does a couple of backflips before landing into a pile of squeaky pool toys*
Inola is taking some time off from work to come down and see me, now all I have to do is ask my boss for that week's time off of as well so I can spend as much time with my foxy as I can. I don't want to be stuck having to work the entire time he's here, and leave him sitting around the house for 8 hours until I get home, he'll be bored to tears! I is excited! I can't wait!
Season 8 of Doctor Who starting today!!!
Posted 11 years agoEven tho I don't have BBCAmerica on my cable package anymore, it's going to suck missing out on the new season, and the new Doctor. Guess I'll have to wait for the box-set to come out in about six months, but I know the wait will be worth it after seeing the trailer for the newest season. It's a Whovian thing.

MFF is a "go" for this wolf!
Posted 11 years agoAlright everyone, don't panic and get your fur in a bunch, but this wolf will be returning to MFF again this year! Shortly before I left work tonight I talked to Dave, one of our overnight assistant managers (who by the way is a good friend of mine) and asked if I could take the time off for the con. Obviously starting on Thursday the 4th, and staying until Monday the 8th. I know how company policy always worries about time being taken off during the holiday season, but Dave reassured me that that was fine, a few days is better than a few weeks during that time of year he jokingly stated, but I would have to remind him later on once con time started to roll around. Heh, it pays to know people.
An unusual TMI for Thursday
Posted 11 years agoYeah, I know. Most of these get posted on Tuesdays, but I'm breaking the rules today. Ask me anything you've wanted to ask me, and I will give you a truthful reply. Starting Nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnow!
Rest in Peace Robin Williams
Posted 11 years agoIt's still not sinking in that he's gone from us, I keep thinking this is a bad dream and I'm not awake from it yet. The world just became a little darker now since his death, I know we will all miss his brand of witty humor, his multitude of silly voices, and his talented acting skills.
It's hard to imagine someone as wonderful, and outgoing like Robin was suffering so long with depression? I know in the early part of his career he was battling alcohol and cocaine addiction, and later overcoming those obstacles.
It's just so hard to accept that the world lost such a wonderful and inspiring man such as Robin.
Rest in peace Robin, you will be deeply missed by a lot of people.
TMI Tuesday
Posted 11 years agoHaven't done one of these in a while. You all know the drill, ask me whatever is on your mind about me, and I will truthfully answer back. This message will self-destruct in 10 seconds.
My fursuit may be going from dream to reality this year!
Posted 11 years agoA couple of weeks back I noted
SparkleKreations, who I plan on having my fursuit made by to see if they could give me a quote of some sorts. I got a reply back from them on Tuesday and they gave me a little particulars list to fill out of what I would like with my suit and all. I think tonight after I get home from work, or first thing Friday morning on my day off is to fill out the list, and note them back with what I would like in my suit. Also I think after I get a general quote from them of how much it is going to cost I will send them my deposit to get my commission going, and the best part is they do monthly payments! So I'm hoping by sometime next year to have Tico finally made and ready to suit in! I is super excited wolf! One other thing, would anyone be willing to help me with my DTD to send to them for measurements?
