I also may be getting a couple more bills for doctor visits with the surgeon who put my arm back in place. Hopefully that's covered as well. c-c

I finally was able to get a copy of this x-ray and actually see it for myself today at my second physical therapy session. I never saw it while I was in the hospital and my PTist said she had it in her file, so I asked her to pull it up since I wanted to see it too! I then asked if I could snap a photo of it with my phone and she let me. xD

But yeah, it's back in place of course, but that's what I'm recovering from. PT is going great. I end up very very sore afterwards though. :(

This only concerns those involved in this group commission.

To those involved in this piece, I have been in touch with about changing the theme to winter since a lot of things have come up for me the past couple months.

The reason I am changing it to winter theme is because I won't be able to work on it for probably another month or two. If you haven't been keeping up, I dislocated my elbow on Halloween night and its going to take a while for me to recover. I'm in physical therapy at the moment, so hopefully that will get my arm into proper function. Or enough to actually draw without it hurting like an asshole.

At the moment I am also somewhat unwilling to issue refunds, I have to pay out of pocket for some of the medical bills and it's going to hurt my wallet. All I ask is you have patience. If I had seen this coming I wouldn't have initiated this commission.

I need your input on this and what you guys would like to see in the image.

If this gets approved with all 20 of you, I will come up with a new position/activity list. You can also suggest activities and which one you'd prefer to be doing.

After seeing many movies where a character dislocates something, I can honestly say I thought this would heal quickly. In movies you see the character dislocate something and are all "fuuuck that hurts" and then somehow put it back in place their self or another character steps in and fixes it no prob. Afterwards they seem to be better and don't need further treatment!

That's not the case, ever.

When I was at the hospital, they tried 8 times to fix my arm while i was awake and heavily drugged. I barely remember it, but as the drugs quickly wore off I remember the last few attempts and it wasn't pleasant at all. They ended up having to admit me to the OR and put me under.

Today I had my first physical therapy appointment. Mostly paper work and she sent me home with a print out of exercises I should do on my own. I go back Monday to start the real stuff.

I can draw with my right hand, but it gets stiff and sore within minutes.

I've also run out of percoset, which is okay since my arm isn't as swollen as it was. Still hurts quite a bit though. :(

Also, a lot of people seem to think I'm faking this, or it isn't as bad as I'm making it out to be. Just stop. A dislocation is a serious injury. It takes a lot of time to heal and recover. I've gotten several notes from concerned commissioners in regards to getting art done. They seem to want me to finish their art right now, regardless of my dominant arm being injured and incapable of working.

Please, just have patience you guys..

I'm sure you've seen my recent submission about my arm. Right now I'm back home and my arm is splinted and in a sling. It's still in a massive amount of pain and the doctor said I need to stay off of it for awhile. He said it could take a few days to a few weeks to heal and considering my arm was dislocated for a good 8 hours before being popped back into place, I'd say I'm looking at 1-2 weeks before I'm completely healed.

I will try to work on commissions but chances of getting anything done are slim as my injured arm is my drawing/dominant arm.

Now please excuse me while I go sleep forever.

I have not forgotten about your commissions. I know I owe icons, group pictures and other things. This past month has been very hard on me. I lost two pets and found out that my grandfather is dying from lung cancer. This is why production has been slow.

I want a 500x500 icon AND a 1200x600 header for my twitter account.

Why? Ever since I lost my cat, my icon and header have been set to images of her and to get my mind off her loss I really need something new and refreshing. I don't want to just set it to something I already have, I want to cheer myself up by getting something new.

It can be either flat colored images or shaded. List your prices for either with examples in a comment to this journal.

I really hate how people assume that if you're wearing a fullsuit, and you're wearing shorts over it, then you're obviously wearing them to cover an SPH or sheath.

That's so annoying.

I'm going to finally have Brice as a fullsuit for FurFright this year and he normally wears an unbuttoned shirt and cargo shorts. I really wish people didn't assume you have something to hide if you're wearing shorts on a fullsuit.

What are your thoughts on this topic?

On September 7th, my cat ran out of the apartment when my ex-roommate came home that night. We haven't seen any sign of her since or heard from anyone who may have spotted her. She meant a lot to me and I took losing her very hard, and still am.
