Posted 9 years agoTrying to help people and getting dragged into drama and lies. Getting stuck between people hurling insults and criminal charges at each other.
And despite, or maybe because, I'm helping (trying to) people, I end up getting screwed over.
And I'm watching a perfectly good person getting betrayed by everyone she trusted, even her own family.
They swore they'd pay me back and then don't even try.

Posted 9 years agoI knew it was gonna happen. Didn't expect it so soon. Also didn't expect a bout of food poisoning... Go figure.
Yep. The diabetes again. Though I found out that my control has been a LOT better...until my insurance dropped me with no warning and no insulin. :|
But. I am feeling DeTemined. I AM doing better. This was just a minor setback. Let's go all the way!

Posted 9 years agoFinally got the trailer. Thought the electric didn't work but...it does. The carpet that was donated is not nearly enough to cover everything and the weather has been too cold and rainy to use polyurethane... So I have to figure out vinyl flooring somehow.

Posted 9 years agoOk. My hand is mostly healed, and I'm going to have Kage set up the tiny laptop so I can get back to work. He is working some shitty hours, 4:30 am kinda stuff. We still only recieve $500 a month regardless of his amount of hours worked.
We need help until he gets on-the-books hired. They say it's going to happen in May. Also, the new trailer is still in the works. It just needs volunteers... They refuse to let US work on it. (I'd have it dine in two days...seriously.)
So. We need rent, cat food, soap, shampoo, and some sanity.
If anyone has any extra funds to spare please help. Pray if you lean that way. Sanity is a precious commodity. I don't expect that. :3

Posted 9 years agoYesterday was fun.... Not. Migraine + Sick child + kid refusing anything that would help + feeling useless + bipolar + horrible aim + glass cabinet = 13 stitches in the back of my hand.

Posted 9 years agoHospitalized again last week. Aftwr followup visits I've been told that my health will NOT be getting any better until my living conditions improve.
Kage has been working 36 hours a week and in return we get a "grant" of $506 a month. Affording more rent isn't really an option.
Somehow we need to get around $8,000 for a newer trailer, one with plumbing and a cooking range.
In the meantime, tomorrow ia my 33rd birthday, and I would greatly appreciate any gifts anyone feels like sending. Money is alqays appreciated. I would like a decent, healthy and hot meal for a change.
Edit: The trailer we were supposed to get..in September.. Hasn't even been worked on, and no one is responding to texts, or calls. I was told explicitly not to contact the company who was doing the donating and restoration, because it made me seem greedy.

Posted 10 years agoOkay. First off, my computer ate its third harddrive and I don't have the funds to repair or replace it yet. There is a small possibility I can get something else rigged up... But it has to wait until next month.
We had a scare with CPS... But it turns out they are more than willing to help us instead of being heartless drones. In fact we will be moving into a larger place with functioning plumbing some time in the next few weeks. Hence art waiting. I will have SPACE to work!
It will be slower going though, my peripheral neuropathy has gotten much worse, probably due to stress and a lot of hard labor. I promise I will get to it soon though.
Thank you all who showed concern. It has been a challenge this year. And I am infinitely sorry for the delays.

And then my computer went *poof* for the second time. I still have to re upload the programs on it and get the drivers for my cintique but that should take maybe an hour...*knock wood*
And I'm addicted to Terraria..

Once I get out of this dream-trance like state I'm in, I'll get back on doing what I owe.

I owe art. I can't find my things. At all. It's going to take a while to go through everything and find my stylus, or at least some pens and pencils, my cords...everything. Then again, with 9 frigging cats, things go missing. I hope I don't find stuff covered in poo under the captain's chair.
