I lurk in the shadows unseen, as if some phantasmal haunting apparition. Cursing the sun-blighted surface world above, I remain within the unhallowed corridors carved deep into the very bowels of the earth by the very hand of some supreme deity of a distant, forgotten age. Herein my prison chamber, no shadows are to accompany me, for no trace of light is to be found. But what is this to me? Nothing, for I find solace in my eternal solitude. In this kingdom of endless darkness, I am one with the shadows. I am the starless night. I am everything that cannot be seen. I am the father of fear. I am the herald of damnation. I am what I am; and yet, I am nothing...
