My heart is so empty, my soul that is so crushingly dead.
but yet i fail to surrender my death to you.
iv'e given it all, and have stood tall, but i still keep getting pulled down.
but if it's one thing i know my soul isn't damned to hell,
the death of me won't be given to you.
i will see this whole thing through.
The mistakes iv'e made they wont fade, but i will live with them forever until i'm dazed.
my heart so cracked in my bones
all compressed and twisted in my soul.
with no way out into the light, i have to suffer this pain.
but if it's one thing i know, i am strong, you wont bring me down.
i'll stand tall just like a gong.
