you don't even know how much time I spent trying to get it looking legible. I can't switch to text now or it'll look like shit and I apparently can't write well enough to please everyone.

I can read your hand writting perfectly fine :3 it fits I. with the style of the comic I think text would look rather odd in place of your writting - keep up the awesome work ; D

I hardly comment on thing, but I have to say, this is super adorable! Shawn is such a shy goof, he kinda works his way into your heart. The wording actually really fits to the atmosphere of the comic, as well as the composition/shape of the word bubbles. (And don't feel bad, I know how it is writing on a tablet!) I also adore your shading and faces.

No, I really think you're doing a good job at it! You can feel how Shawn is a nervous wreck (and totally feels like he is "trying to hard"), Jordan seems like a go with the flow kinda guy, and Xin seems like the playful sort, yet still concerned for her friend. Even though she also seems to be hiding it behind teasing him! Hope I'm not reading too much into everything, but I really look forward to their character/story development!

I find myself violently gesturing at my computer screen in a "now kiss" fashion with these cute patoots.
As well, I think your writing is wonderful. It adds a certain character and feel to the comic that I quite enjoy.

YOur hand writing is not that great, yeah, but my hand writing is so bad in middle school and high school teachers made me type assignments on the computer so they could read them. Someone once seriously told me to write something in English because they don't speak Japanese, or Russian, or German, or whatever I wrote. All my signatures are just random scribbles, if I was an artist and could draw even a tiny bit, you would see the "close enough" meme next to everything I sign.

I am not really joking either, these are all truths.

Like seriously, if I hand wrote these messages to you, you would think I was a 2 year old scribbling doodles for you.

It has a ABC setting you can write it out if it helps make it neater perhaps. I think your handwriting looks fine and gives the comic uniqueness. But if it makes it easier, this might help?
