Inkanyamba is a South African serpent cryptid living in or around waterfalls and lakes, believed to hold magical power over weather, specifically rainstorms, and resemble a giant snake with a "horselike" head. Such a crass comparison or an apex predator to a prey species. Humph! I say.
About time I created a reference for my persona character; snake characters are rare enough, ladysnakes are rarer still.
Not venomous, just thirsty; in the mawshot those little things under the upper lip are the sleeves for the folding fangs.
Details on colour palette and feeding habits are to be found in upcoming reference pictures.

Ooooh, I love the sound of that. Long, dexterous, and strong too. Gotta admit, I'm jealous of the character stand in she's got in her grasp. About the coils, you know you have something when just showing a small loop around a person is enough to get someone excited. I can't wait to see the next picture.
Thanks. A lot of artist go with realistic snake faces and they aren't good looking enough to be actually attractive right away. Look at tacokurt's snakes, they evolved from Disney's Kaa and other snakes, it appears, and have fairly original facial sctructure. This is just an extra iteration or that plus some pointers from one NeoDokuro: NSFW, the first image.
"Avagrah is a huge water serpent from Bengal. It preys on many creatures and would kill them by coiling around them and squeezing them to death, much like an anaconda. It was so large that it could take down an elephant..."

Makes for less competition for me <3
I watched tacokurt for a long time, trying to figure out how his snakes' faces would be shaped IRL, in 3 dimensions. Then I happened upon this image: neodokuro.tumblr.com/post/87617213944/commission-overlai and instantly loved the structure of Kuu's face as made by NeoDokuro who I also knew and admired for a while. A little mix of both those artists' styles, eye shape from NummyNumz, love for big smoochy lips and long thick tongues from myself and here you are.
This snake drawing is very beautiful and very gorgeous, there are a few snake images that question me on rather or not she is a normal snake or a vampire snake, cause it look like it was going to sink her fangs into his neck to suck the blood out, but other then that, I really like this snake lady drawing.
