Gaen-Mar'an - Stellar Cartographer
(Note: This character is from my story series, "Daggers of Darkness".)
Here's Gaen-Mar'an, the Stellar Cartographer onboard the I.E.S. Chel-Sar Se'nika of the Mûr Tua'ansa Star Empire. She's 7 ft 5 in tall, 33 Std. Mûr Zhæn years old (that's 174 Std. Terran yrs.), single, and already serving on her 2nd exploration ship. On her left shoulder is the Imperial Stellar Cartographers crest -- making Gaen-Mar'an a part of a different arm of the Imperial Star Service (her uniform is even a bit different than the others of the Se'nika's crew). Although I didn't include many of the crew of the Se'nika in the first book's storyline, all 16 of her crew members will have a part in the next adventure, which is why I'm getting them all drawn. :)
I drew this using a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil with HB lead, a 2B hardness graphite stick, my usual blending and shading tools, and on Georgia-Pacific "Everyday Copy & Print" paper.
Art, character, & storyline © Ronald J. Lebeck (that's me).
