Shen-Lir'an - The Communicator
(Note: This character is from my story series, "Daggers of Darkness".)
Here's Shen-Lir'an, who has the position of Communicator (their equivalent of a Comms. Off.) onboard the I.E.S. Chel-Sar Se'nika of the Mûr Tua'ansa Star Empire.
Shen-Lir'an is 7 ft 1 in tall, making her just 2 inches shorter than Zhir-Chi'an, and is 24 Std. Mûr Zhæn years old (that puts her at 126 Std. Terran years of age). In this picture, she is standing in front of the Communications Station in the "Command Pit". Her station is the first one on the left (going in a clock-wise direction), followed by the Navigator, Pilot, Detection, and Sensory.
I drew this using a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil with HB lead, 2B & 6B graphite sticks, various other drawing tools, and on Georgia-Pacific "Everyday Copy & Print" paper. The world that appears in the window, I drew that entirely by hand -- the clouds I made using a white vinyl eraser.
