This is some new (and better) art of my Keepers villain, Takhe Render! It was done by the amazing
ViceX. This submission also has some updated history and new listings of his recent appearances.
The character was formerly owned by
SOJITZL, who apparently made him during a bad time of his life, or . . . whatever it was he said. He had no clue as to what to do with him, so since I loved so much as a villain, I offered to take him off his hands, and he let me! So now he's mine, and this is his introductory display of artwork into my line of characters! Here's some info about him below:
Name: Takhe (Kyroto) Gwendolyn Winder/Render
Species: Drailkian
Gender: Male
Height: 9'2"
Vocal Tone: Mischievous/Intimidating/Medium
Former Territory: Barened
Former Rank: Tyrannous King
Current Home: Aterea, various places
Color Scheme: Purple/Gray/Yellow/Green.
Favorite Prey: Humans
Personality: Rude, nosy, evil, chaotic, voracious, mischievous, impatient, bashful, seductive (hardly), and secretive.
Abilities: Extreme speed, strength, and reflexes. Shadow weapons. Paralyze Claw: paralyzes enemies and prey. Multi Cutter: allows him to strike twice with one blow.
History in Drailkius: Takhe was a Drailkian created by Kevin to create a world with the fantasy good king. However, Takhe, learning of his power as king, abused it and threw Barened into chaos, waging war on Drailkius. Though king of Drailkius, he was also said to be fighting against a government in Tilk, Anthrus’ hometown.
Takhe will do anything to become king of any world/realm/universe. He, as programmed, must be the perfect king.
History in Aterea: Takhe was first seen attacking my three Keepers characters, Jobe, Vyk, and Nalan, along with Kevin, in the Wu Forest during their Keeper journey. He confused them with his great speed and agility before kidnapping Jobe. He took him to another part of the forest, where he proceeded to taunt him over his intentions to eat him, and then actually ate him. He was saved when Vyk, Nalan, and Kevin fought him, and the latter underwent a shift in his power, turning from Kevin to Alpha, and pulled Jobe out of Takhe’s body before defeating the evil dragon with his newfound power. The large crater left behind made the group believe that Takhe had been killed by the attack.
As it turned out, Takhe had actually survived Kevin/Alpha’s attack, merely walking away severely wounded. He turned up on the Aron Mountains on the continent of Faria, from which he then entered Codyli Village and forged an alliance with the master of the Codyli, Niles Sobek. Immediately friends, the two villainous forces set out on a crusade to conquer Aterea in the name of the Codyli, with Takhe specifically seeking out Kevin, Jobe, Vyk, and Nalan for revenge.
Takhe and Niles attacked the nearby city of Risto to commandeer a ship or two to take around the world and use it to carry their Codyli forces to conquer it. But the eight Keepers arrived to foil their plans. During the battle, Takhe put his plans into motion to kidnap Jobe, to whom he revealed a new intention. Once he had devoured him, he would take his throne (even though he would still have to devour Jobe’s parents, the king and queen, in order to take over the rule of Aterea).
Takhe then proceeded to swallow Jobe alive, but he was freed due to Takhe accidentally coming into contact with some rikato fruit potion beforehand, which caused a vomiting fit that made him cough up his prey. Jobe then fought Takhe, but was quickly defeated before getting eaten by him again. With a use of his Grand Concerto attack, Jobe managed to make Takhe throw him up once more, and he then proceeded to kill the evil dragon with a Light Storm spell.
Takhe descended to the dead, finding his soul languishing in Aterea’s Underworld. He remained there for over ten months before he finally thought of a way out. He needed a living person to come to the Underworld and willingly release him from its bindings. He spent months observing the eight Keepers, looking for a way to exploit the grief over any of their losses to try and get him or her to return him to life.
With this in mind, he targeted Vyk due to his grief over his late wife, Lin, and pulled him down into the Underworld, along with a lizard bounty hunter named Agua from the kingdom of Djeura on a version of Earth. From there, they took four dangerous trials and fought four deadly villains to reach the souls waiting to be resurrected. Takhe took on the form of Vyk’s late wife to trick him into releasing him from the Underworld. The plan succeeded, and Takhe returned to life, resuming his plans of devouring Jobe to take over the Aterean throne.
Takhe successfully hunted down Jobe at his family’s vacation house. After a very brief bout and an attempted defense from Jobe’s friend and ally, Seceagon Lynx, also known as Seth Narek, Takhe paralyzed Jobe with his Paralyze Claw before immediately devouring him alive. But he was foiled when Vyk and Agua arrived, and the former managed to defeat him due to an evolution of his Earth powers. After Jobe was freed from his stomach, Vyk had Seth help him dump Takhe into a part of Aterea with barren wilderness from which he would find difficulty escaping so he could never hurt anyone again.
While lost in the wilderness, Takhe was stuck looking for things to eat. Sure, he found some fruits, and they were good, but they didn't make up for the meat or protein he was lacking. But he finally found it when he stalked, chased, and captured a young dragon from a different version of Earth named Juno. With no mercy whatsoever, he taunted, tasted, and devoured the dragon before ultimately digesting him, happy to finally have his first true meal since coming back to life.
At some point in time, Takhe was blindsided, captured, and preyed on himself by the sinister albino crocodile, Viktor Cain, who devoured him alive and trapped him in his stomach dimension. He released him to unleash him on Aterea's populace once more. Once released, he took back his position as the head of the Codyli (this time as the sole leader with Niles still dead) from the crocodile thief Spire. From there, he was influenced by Viktor, and then by Jyn, to attack Risto once more, this time as part of the two villains' plan to spurn Jobe's younger brother, Arlo, into action and force him to battle the evil Drailkian and evolve his powers in the process. The plan was successful, as Arlo did indeed evolve his ice powers when he gained his "Keeper Mode" while battling Takhe to rescue Jobe, whom Takhe had again eaten prior to the battle.
Takhe was defeated by Arlo, but before he could be picked up for an arrest, he escaped some bindings Spire had placed on him to try and claim a new victim: Jobe and Arlo's newborn sister, Charla. His attempt was nipped right in the bud by Agua, and after Takhe was quickly dispatched once more, Agua swallowed him alive, digested him, and took him to the Black Vault to leave him with the worst of the worst prisoners.
History in Aerona: Sometime later, after his imprisonment, Takhe was killed by the evil Oni Malice, along with every other prisoner in the Black Vault. His soul was promptly seized by Malice and placed under his control as he was made part of the Oni's army of the undead. He was set on Aerona and Djeura, along with other members of the undead, and attacked the two nations (along with other unseen nations). He once again reunited with Jobe, and he once again ate him alive. But he had him for less than a few minutes, as a tag-team effort from the wolf goddess Luna and the orca demigod Morcan resulted in his defeat and him once again losing the object of his obsession. Once defeated, he was revived by the dragon demigod Xiren and sent back to Aterea, where he has likely returned to Codyli Village to resume his rule there (especially with Spire now roaming the worlds with twenty other loyal Codyli).
That is Takhe’s history so far. But he has still more to be made. He will return in later RP stories I do with others, so you will see. . . .
