Here's the scene from Chapter 12 of my novel "Family Tails" where Rosie finds herself surrounded by the wolves. In the foreground is Sesi, far left is Amaguq, sniffing Rosie is Kapik, Atka is behind and facing towards, and of course there's Rosie. Not pictured, though present off to the left, are Iluq and Mumik, the youngest two of Atka and Sesi. Rosie is wearing the clothing described in the story. Although you can't see it from this angle due to the fall of her long fur-hair, Rosie still has her coffee cup in her right hand.

Poor Rosie is totally scared at this point, outside on the deck, backed up against the house, and nobody else is around. She wasn't expecting to be meeting the wolves yet, and definitely NOT without Ron or Lupina around to her introduce them.

I drew this using a 0.5 mm mechanical pencil with HB lead, a 6B graphite stick, various blending and shading tools, on Georgia-Pacific "Everyday Copy & Print" paper.
