Bursting from the doorway, Whault surveys the battle before moving up next to the Anubian. The ferret calls out a quick prayer to Mosingtai before, laying hands on Sir Albus to cast the holy healing spell "Invest Light Protection".

A surge of well-being and health washes through Sir Albus, the pain in his shoulder from the earlier wound fading. The knight feels great. In fact, he feels as if someone is watching over him, protecting him from the forces arrayed against him in this fight!

Whault casts "invest light protection" to heal 1d4+1 hp = 5+2 = 7 and then +3 temp HP for the next 1 minute(10 rounds). Additionally, Sir Albus gains 1 point of damage reduction against evil for the next 1 minute(10 rounds).

Marissa, as you come around the corner to join the fight, you see the bat Sorcerer give Sir Albus a rather nasty jolt from shocking grasp, and then Whault rush up to heal him. Mekie is fighting a rather burly barbarian, but seems to be doing quite well keeping the berserker on the ground with her new whip. You are on the other side of the barbarian from Mekie.
