Everyone saying the outgoing twin in Gem's dad. Honestly I hadn't picked up on that but I can see what's coming here. Only big question in my mind is was gem's mom aware of the fact she was cheating. They are twins after all and grew up together so it might be possible for one to believably take the place of the other without the other realizing it. Oh I can't wait to see more.
Also damn Gem you make wittle ZeeZee look so gosh darn adorable. ^^

OK, I've just updated my Found Index to this page, and I'm still fascinated by this story!
Also, others have probably realized this already, but Gemma's now really seriously dreaming about events that happened before she was born. In the hypnosis session she had with Dr. Kitsune she "remembered" something from before her birth, but that can happen as the mind takes scraps of information and fills in the space between. But now she's on her own, not guided at all, and a traumatic figure she barely remembers is telling her things she can't have known. I mean, ZeeZee told her about something that happened just after her birth, which people can't remember either, but that's because of brain physiology. This is just plain she-didn't-exist-yet impossible. Meaning that something supernatural or at least very freaky is happening here.
And it gives me the creeps. We don't know what he is, other than that he's based on her memories of someone she was scared of from a very young age, who looked like someone else she was very happy to be around. What is he? How is he preventing Gemma from defending herself? Why can't her good memories help her now?
And when are those pills going to kick in? I know firsthand that you don't go into REM sleep the instant your head hits the pillow unless you have a sleep disorder like narcolepsy. I also know that no pill takes effect instantly, and that dreams can really mess with your sense of time. If the pills take effect 30 minutes after she swallows them, but she's been dreaming that whole time, it can feel like hours or days have passed by the time those 30 minutes pass in the real world. But maybe she hasn't been dreaming that whole time? It normally takes hours for you to get into REM sleep. Maybe the pills have taken effect, all they're going to, and they're just not working for her?
