Chapter 9: The Dream
This is definitely my favorite chapter of the story. I love reading this one again and again, I really do. It's even made me cry a few times. I don't know what it is about it, but it just does something for me.
I originally considered ending the story here, and back when I first posted it a few people told me that maybe I should have. But I couldn't. I had to extend it just one more bit.

Awww....I greatly appreciate the compliment.
I do have a lot of weaknesses as a writer. But I really only used to do it as a side hobby...I never took it too seriously, I only did it for fun. So I've never felt like taking the time to shore up a lot of those weaknesses, even if they turn off some people.
So while I don't personally feel like I'm the best writer around, I greatly appreciate you complimenting me in that way. It does make me feel good and I'm glad that you enjoy my writing.
I think part of the reason why you like my writing so much is that we have a pretty good bit in common emotionally. As I've told you before, when I was younger I think I felt a lot of the same emotions that you do. And I wrote a lot of these stories when I was younger like that. So I think you can connect with a lot of the emotions that I portray, and I think that's a big reason why you enjoyed this story.
And if that's the case, it's a good thing because I think some of my other stories will tap into some of those same kinds of emotions.
