HMMMM. And yet she claims to despise Lower Vulpitania, its citizens, and its ways. I wonder if her father was an exception to that rule, or the one that soured her on them.
Sad to hear her backstory though. Sounds like she's undergone indignities (like that DMV station work, blech) to get to this point...I daresay she could be more dangerous than anyone realizes, if people get in her way in earnest.

My Companion looked at me with a mixture of skepticism and a tincture of worry. "You're not going to do anything rash and stupid, are you?" she whispered.
