It's Burns Night - the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robbie Burns. Which is a big deal if you're Scottish. And if the grown-ups in your neighbourhood decide they're going to have a Burns supper, it's a great opportunity to wear a kilt and discover what a fun toy a set of bagpipes can be! It's a musical instrument, a trampoline, a play monster and even has dangling tasselly kitty-toys!
Adult voices can be heard saying "You let them play with the bagpipes?" "I didn't think they'd work out how to make a noise with them!"

Wheeeee, thanks, Yosh-E! ^.^ Heehee, Zee-Zee was supposed to have a look of cheerful concentration as he tries to work out how to play Twinkle Twinkle Little Star, but the way it turned out there's definitely a look of mischievous cunning there. I think he's realised that the grown-ups might bribe the cubs with cookies to stop them playing if he keeps going a few more minutes...
You mentioned your Scottish heritage once, aaaages ago, and I have a habit of remembering useless information like that, so you were the first one who popped into my head when I thought of this piccie. The background is either your family tartan or a fake one make up by some wannabe-Scots American who shares your surname - I couldn't be sure which from my quick internet search, but it looks pretty so I decided to use it. ^.^ Happy Burns Night, ye wee sleekit cowerin' timorous beastie!
I just cant help but smile when seeing this zee zee. I hope everyone brought some earplugs though cause a bagpipe that big might hurt our little ears. Also I may have some scottish in me, I know Ive got english, irish, polish, and german for sure so good possibility there could be some scottish as well.
