OMG, SO I was browsing here not too long ago, and someone posted a picture of Fred the Meerkat from Timon & Pumbaa the series! :D OMFG, I TOTALLY forgot about him and how much I LOVED this character!! XDD He appeared in a total of 4 episodes...and sometimes his eyes are normal and others they are rather psychotic... :3 I like it.
At this point all of those Timon fans can keep him. I'll take his best friend, Fred! XD :heart: *squishes him tightly* He's freaking adorable. A little mean at times, but I have my theories on that one!

Quinton Flynn is a voice actor of many talents! His other notable roles have been Sheldon from My Life As A Teenage Robot, Iruka-Sensei from Naruto, Axel from the Final Fantasy/Kingdom Heart games... tons.. XD
And yeah, Nathan Lane did start out for a few episodes, but then dropped it. So they got Quinton Flynn and one other person to voice Timon instead. (Yes, 3 different VA's on 1 show for 1 character.)

Fred's a very interesting character to me. Behind that goofy exterior of his, he must be wicked-smart and badass because of that elaborate goat prank he pulled in Mind Over Matterhorn plus the fact that he guards the colony after Timon was exiled. If he guards a whole colony, he must be one tough guy for a goofball.
Because of that, Fred strikes me as one of the more intelligent characters on the show although he can get a little obnoxious.
