The role of a writer is not to say what we all can say, but what we are unable to say. ~Anaïs Nin

Hello again and welcome to our third digest.
Before we move on to the submissions, we have a note. Recently it has come to our attention that FA had a section for writers in their forums, ironically named the Writers Bloc, and even certain threads for writers seeking critique for their works. We were unaware of this and would like to thank our member for bringing this to our attention. We encourage all of our members and even our watchers to go check the forums to see what’s what in the writing community if they haven’t done so already. We here at the Writers Block will continue our activities and try to keep you guys up to date on our end with our digest, and even bring you news to the forums, if allowed.
Now that's done, we're a bit light on submissions this week, so if you're on a critiquing spree, feel free to go back to last week because we had a ton there, and a few didn't get any attention sadly. Please check them out.

First we have yorokonde's response to another of
poetigress's prompts. (At this point do we even need to mention it?) Based on a dream and brought into reality through prose.

If you love zombies, don't read this. Relatively strong violence and gore, this is not for the faint of heart, though if you've got your pills, you can probably make it through just fine.

Yet another poetigress prompt-inspired story. The thought process is explained in the submission, and it contains a few spoilers, so look at your own risk. Otherwise, this story is the beginning of what could be the start of a beautiful friendship... er, continuity.

I wouldn't include another one of my own, but with only three others I feel like this tiny (and I do mean tiny) story could use a bit more critique from those who weren't familiar with the prompt before reading.

That's all for this week, enjoy!
