Biographical Data
Rebecca is the daughter of Fiachra O'Malley and Fiachra's close friend Liane Rabbitfangs. As Fiachra's eldest daughter, Rebecca is heir to the throne of the city-state of Oseille on Viridis. She splits her time between living with Fiachra and living with Liane, which allows her travel far more than most people her age are able to do, and she counts herself lucky to be able to see so much of the world around her. In spite of her royal parentage, she is determined to make her own way in the world and to earn her keep. To this end, she has been studying magic with the aim of using it to help people in need.
Personal Statement
Who me? Well, as the saying goes, I'm just this girl, you know? I know that everyone thinks that when you come from a royal family, or close enough, your life is glamorous and exciting and I guess I've had my fair share of fun. Even though Fiachra won't let me do a lot yet. I mean, I'm fifteen, I'm not a kitten anymore. I don't need her to keep shielding me from danger. Mostly though, I just focus on my studies for right now. My uncle Seán, well he's not really my uncle except in an honorary way, he's helping me with the whole magic thing. I'm pretty good now, and one day I'll be the best you ever saw!

I've been kind of leaving her exact abilities, and how her magic actually works, rather nebulous for the time being precisely so that it will be easier to integrate her more fully into whatever kinds of stories we wish to use her in. I kind of imagine her to be pretty much a raw amateur at the moment, too, leaving plenty of room for her talents to be shaped by any future training. But yeah, we definitely need to talk about how things are going to work.
Rebecca hasn't actually shown up in any major works yet. My current project was already pretty far along when she was created, and so I've just kind of assumed that during those events she was living with her mother. Kind of the same reason why Emer isn't in the new book, too. I definitely plan on using both of them in stories in the future, for sure. Though I wasn't sure if we were going to use Emer in anything we did together, which is why I haven't posted her here.

I think that it's always best to play things close to the belt until you (we) are sure where we're headed with any one character. You can always establish things later, it's hard to retcon without a lot of work. Anyway, it's always a good place to start, though given our discussions I know Deborah will feature more heavily in my part of the universe.
No doubt we might be able to find a place for either or both, I usually like to let the story come first, and have it tell me what comes next. ;)
