If you don't know what this is about...
Then you probably don't know what the Last Guardian game is about...
In this case, I really suggest you to play or at least watch a let's play of!
I will definitely say it's one of the best games EVER made, thanks to it's story... and, of course, Trico...
Needless to say...
I'm deeply in love with Trico...
I close my eyes and I see his green glowing eyes staring curiously at me...
Even though I don't have a way to play the game myself, and even though I had to watch a let's play, which reduces your experience by half...
I still was overwhelmed with feelings, I cried at the end just of how much feels I had...
I just want to go to this world, I want to see Trico... hug him, bury myself in his feathers...
Yeah...
Alright, in any case... Christmas is all about re-uniting with ones you hold dear to your heart, right?
I thought that my version of "what happens after the game ends" would ideally suit this spirit!
May you be together with the ones you love, but if distance separates you, may you have the strength to venture into journeys and overcome all obstacles in search for them...
Have a very merry Christmas and a happy New Year!

When the kids have shown me the mirror, my heart ache anew.
For what was lost for many years I got a chance to recover.
Never accepted back to the community of our village, this time I did not have anyone to leave behind.
I ventured forth, towards where the artifact has shown me the path.
My future and my past were awaiting for me there.
If you don't know what this is about...

The creator of the game was referring to Trico as to a male, in Japanese. However there are certain guesses and speculation that Trico is female...
So it's pretty much left for the player to figure out. And yes, I'm aware of the beauty Trico has under the tail, but those two holes can literally mean anything really, I wouldn't say it's a concrete proof.
Honestly I don't care about the gender much, I just love Trico ^^

Or perhaps the mirror would show him the path back to the city. I don't expect him to remember how to get there, both times he was travelling by air, unconscious, and inside Trico's belly <3.
The mirror acts as some sort of a key for all the magical constructs around this lost city...

Thank you so much, Sprout!
You also do amazing art of Trico!
I'd love to continue drawing at least a few more pictures of Trico, featuring vore and sexy stuff... But for now I shall attend to the game making and commissions (cant finish them in a long time already because of being super busy all the time) ^^

I cannot favorite this enough.
I was the same deal, I don't have a PS4 or the game so I watched a LP on it, but even when the experience was dulled... the whole journey through it, was serene.. it's what art in game form truely was, the enviroments, the creatures (even the smaller animals adding life and detail), everything was gorgeous. But Trico.. dear god Trico. The feathers, the size, the beauty in his glowing rave like eyes. Call me silly but I could only imagine how soft he must have felt, how warm he would have been to sleep against in the cold ruins of the nest, safely under wing of such a graceful yet powerful and adorable beast.
Would be incredible to get a VR experiance with it, but doubt that will ever happen.. besides.. who needs that level of immersion when the game does a damn fine job of it without it.
Thanks Sal for this picture, it's made me happier. :)

I sign under every word you said...
I, myself, close my eyes every night and try to picture Trico and how it would feel to be around him...
If I had more time, I could bring Trico to VR... I definitely could.. but its a lot of work :/ We will see... hope that someday it can happen.
Thank you for the warm comment, I'm really happy to hear that you share the same feelings to Trico as I do.. *hugs and cries a bit*

When I first saw the lets play I was amazed with wonder and adventure. I wanted to be with Trico, I wanted to play the game, but I can't unfortunately due to me not having a PS4. I wish I could play this game.
As for the meaning I think it means family, trust, and discovery.

Yes, and looks like its a very long distance to fly as well... But if you're motivated - nothing can stop you.. it's a hell of a journey indeed.
In the game it was said that "only way in or our is by flight", however I do believe that the place is a lost civilization, and there might be more magical doors around, sealed, that only the mirror can unlock. The mirror is the key to the magical machinery you encounter...

I still don't understand why he never went looking for hi, for fucks sake, toriku risks his life to bring the little shit back and the kid never thought to go looking, if i was friends with a toriku i never would have stopped looking. But i do love this pic, it realy brings things full circle. Love the feels man, love the feels. <3
This is truly amazing! I am so hoping something like this happens in the last guardian 2.
In regards to you saying that you only experienced this game through a let's play; I was the same way. I am really considering buying a ps4 just to play this game though!
Fantastic picture, fantastic everything!

must be sad to be a pathetic pc fanboy and only be able to play crappy unfinished low budget indie game from steam like FNAF, undertale, etc and not experience good AAA exclusives like uncharted 4, bloodborne, until dawn, the last guardian, persona 5, star ocean 5, kingdom hearts 1.5. 2.5 2.8, yakuza, infamous second son, gravity rush 2, detroit become human, death stranding, the order 1886, horizon zero dawn, days gone, god of war, long etc....
if pc is so "master race" then why is it that consoles are still selling so well, selling better than on last gen according to reports and the PS4 is selling even faster than the PS2 which was the best selling console of all time?
checking system requirements, having to update your pc every time with new hardware and waste money so newer games can run properly on it, physical market is dead unlike on consoles so if you're a game collector you can't own physical copies of your games anymore on pc, etc... even on every month's sales charts numbers most of the games that appears there are console versions, you hardly ever see any pc game entering the charts.
so "master race" :P
i don't read replies so don't bother

This was rude, unprovoked, and undeserved, and you should feel horrible for verbally attacking someone when they said nothing to offend you. You made one rude, and probably inaccurate, accusation after another. He never said that he uses only pc, for all you know he uses an Xbox, or a Wii, and to assume he only has a PC is absolutely rediculous. And blocking him so that he couldn't reply? That's pathetic! You coward! I don't even know you, but reading this has convinced me, and probably everyone else who has read this, that you are a horrible, cowardly, and highly immature person.

Suppose when the boy is an old man and shows deep sadness at missing his Trico, his adventurous grandchild, possibly granddaughter, decides to hunt down Trico in an effort to reunite them in a final gift. Inspired by the stories her granddad told through her whole life, she builds a glider, aims it at where the previous game took place, then sets off. Naturally, she's blown off course, but isn't discouraged, continuing her efforts to find Trico by traveling through a new local. Naturally, she'd encounter her own beast, rescuing it as well. This would gain the original Trico's trust enough for a peaceful audience, being Trico II is Trico I's kid, an audience, where the girl would present The Mirror. Trico would recognize it, and, after the girl explains, he would take her home. Trico I would be welcomed in the village this time due to the boy's repeated tales over the years. Tearfully happy reunion, scene ends with a smiling grandkid, roll credits.

Man: "When I walked into that alcove where we first met, my heart ached and tears filled my eyes. There, I found him. My companion. The one who helped me escape the nest all those years ago. Even though it has been many years since our adventure when I was a boy, the beast recognized me right away. Be it my face or my markings on my body, I knew he remembered me. Trico, my friend. I will never lose you again."
