Because Eye Eating Yinglet has the same pink snout as Vizlet, in my head canon, I imagine him to be Vizlets tall and rougish bad boy son. Perhaps he found out about Zat Zhing and knew his mother was not able to compromise her position of matriarch so she gave him a secret assignment to investigate what Narklet and Biezel have been secretly plotting. When Eye Eating Yinglet realized just how deep the rabbit hole goes, he decided to do what was best for the enclave and get proof out to the public, and going rouge the process. Poor Loping just happened to be in the right place at the right time, but he is the man who knew too little.

Don't worry little fancy lad I am sure so pretty yinglet lady Officer Kass will figure something out to let you keep your dreamy eyes. And I am surprised Kass isn't upset being reminded of what s/he once was. But I guess anyone can fall victim to vanity.

I love your sense of humor in these! And I love seeing the story loop back like this and layer onto the beginning! It makes it feel like there's more going on behind the scenes! It also is interesting in getting a chance to see Lopin in a little more detail! Initially I assumed that he was something of a scheme, good natured but more intelligent than he let on. From looking at this, that is of course if what he's saying is true and he's not shifting the blame or lying, he seems a lot more benign if not more like the common Yinglet. In the sense that he's more simple in his joys and harmless in his intent! I eagerly look to see more! Perhaps we'll get to see this mystery character later on! lol and I can't help but laugh over Kass. Priorities! lol though it does make me wonder based on her reaction if she doesn't need another one of those Yinglet naps so she's a little easier to flatter, or if there isn't something regarding her changes making her look like that after the compliment. I don't mean to imply anything off color, but she looks to me to be rather flattered by the compliment. Either Kass is rather vain in that sense or being complimented in appearance (if only indirectly) by a Yinglet Male who isn't drooling over himself is gratifying Kass in a somewhat flirtatious way. Of course I could just be reading that face incorrectly! Do forgive my constant musings and ramblings. As I said it was delightful to see the story from a different angle! Something tells me this isn't the last time we'll revisit the circumstances leading up to that sale and transformation! I can't help but smile as this takes on a crime-scene investigation kind of feeling!

I just noticed one thing about that new yinglet there as I looked at panel 3 and 4.
In 3 he got bandage around his left leg, but in panel 4 I can no longer see that bandage a all, did it just vanish, or what?

Good. At least Lopin got some information out before his eyes will be eaten, but now I'm left with more questions than answers.

Now Beizel is involved? I thought those scouts were working for Narklet or perhaps Vizlet after hearing Kass's story; but I guess since she didn't humor his story at first, she couldn't have. Then, there's some eye-eating scav who apparently had dat ding first. He probably got it from someone else who, in turn, got it from somebody else as well…
