Work the week of Christmas and post Christmas left me completely drained emotionally and physically. And I'm trying to jumpstart myself into drawing again.
And oddly thought of my favorite marsupial ,
BoilerRoo today. And decided to draw up that sexy flier, Stardust.
But for some off reason, armed her, like a good JewRoo, with the Hebrew Hammer, the Uzi. Sure, could have drawn her with a Tavor, but she's more classical, thus the Uzi. As the Israelis say...Never Again.
Besides, Stardust looks sexy armed.
All in fun BR!

I did get a flu shot! Only 10-30% effective this year. I've had it twice now. It suuuuuucks. And semi-auto :) the range didn't have the full auto.
And yea. I mostly keep em at my boy's house, a 22 and a remington 700 200th anniversary edition. Gonna nab a Savage 16 Lightweight tho, I tried it and loved it.

Gads, you are one that feel between the slots then flu-wise, sorry to hear that. And here I feared going to a furry NYE Party in Chicago, and there was a couple of walking plagues there "Cause they just HAD to see everybody!" (One clown was in full blown fresh serious cold, I stayed far far away from him!)
Ahh, yeah, would have been full jealous if you popped a full auto. Got a Vector Uzi myself. You should invest in a simple safe for your place. A 700? What caliber? .308? Thats a high end scope rifle , gotta admit, a quality rifle , and a Savage 16, great varmint rifles. Though in Colorado I would suggest a good old fashioned shotgun for hunting/home defense. A 20 guage would do you fine unless you are a recoil Roo-babe and can handle a 12 guage. Plus I suggest a pump action shotgun, the noise of just pumping it is the most universally recognized sound on the planet that means "You aren't supposed to be here!"
The .22 is a must have for any gun owner, cheap plinking rifle and great for small game. At some point you should get a handgun and practice with that. Great for CCW, home protection. As my sister says "Nobody wants to fuck with an armed female!"
Just think, in Calli and in New York City, you couldn't own those!

Just watched a show on PBS about the Spanish Flu epidemic of 1918, that literally killed millions world wide. Compared to that, we got it lucky today, I guess could your blessings , it could have been far far worse.
I remember hearing my grandparents talk about the 1918 Influenza and how it took out a few members of the families. And thats why I always strive to get a flu shot early, usually in September.
