Artists notes:
Had tons of fun with this one. I think I'm going to do as much dramatic hard-light as I can in the future! They turn out so pretty...
GM's notes:
I made a mistake when calculating Mekie's swim chances last post - my bad. For some reason, I was working with the specs of full chain armor for her, rather then just a chainmail shirt. Rather then -9 to swim, she only had a -6. Still, she would have had to roll a 16 or higher to make it, and a roll of 11 or less would result in her starting to drown. Two DC 10 checks to swing across and jump at +3 and +7 is much better odds, I think...
Hanging on to a rope that rappidly becomes slick with the water she is soaked in, Mekie swings back and forth a few times across the cavern, building up momentum until she judges just the right time to let go. The raccoon rogue arcs through the air with a gleefull shout of "Wheeeeeee!" and lands in water up to her hips with a splash on the other side of the deep water. The rope flops back and forth a few times before settling down over the little rubble pile island again, within easy reach of anyone else who might want to attempt the same trick.
mechanics:
Mekie does a climb check for the swing: 1d20+3=22 vs DC 10 to keep her hold on wet rope in armor and gear, then a tumble check to land where she wants to 1d20+7=15 vs DC of 10.

Whault marches himself out as far as he can find safe footing and takes a series deep breaths, psyching himself up before he jumps out into the water, covering as much distance as possible.
(( Taking a standing long jump, then gonna try to swim out as far as possible while Wally's on the surface, just keep making swim checks until sinks. If that happens, he won't bother fighting it, he'll just trudge along the bottom and climb his way up the slope on the opposite side. Should be able to hold his breath long enough to get that done.
Also, gonna echo the sentiment on the pic here. It's a fun one! :) ))
