"Hacking the corporate systems needs a certain kind of mindset. Normally, a corp system's Avatar is hours ahead of you, already knowing your next move long before you've even thought of it. The trick to beating the gatekeepers is to fake them out. Digital slight of hand. Virtual Magic"

This is really stunning. The detail is exquisite - from the armour to the eyepiece to the avatar. I like your idea of a holographic keyboard - both the positioning and the keys are really interesting ideas, extremely well realised. Quite a vision of future technology, love it. The colouring - especially that on the holographic parts - really drew my eyes, it's beautiful, as is the lighting/shading. Bravo!
Incidentally, the quote is like something from Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri - a gold mine of great future quotes. Have one back, from a man I know you like:
"Companions the creator seeks, not corpses, not herds and believers. Fellow creators the creator seeks--those who write new values on new tablets. Companions the creator seeks, and fellow harvesters; for everything about him is ripe for the harvest." - Nietzsche

What's really cool about this is it reminded me of my friend right after we saw Ironman and Tony Stark's computer. He's been slowing working out how the bugs on how to get a computer to actually do that, using noids (?) and doing the math based on an XYZ axis. Virtually he's got is 90% figured out, but bringing it to fruitation is gonna take some time though.
Man, this image turned into a movie in my head. I love when you describe what's going on in the comment, it makes the image come alive and give it a totally new meaning for it, you give it a story.
Kick ass man, I love all this cracker stuff. It is really exciting.
By the way, from where do you get your textures? I am trying to find some good ones like those you use, but google just isn't helping.

Well first of all this is fucking brilliant.
If i were to have gotten this commission, i probably would have had it like looking from the back of the monitor of a terminal at the face of a somewhat less futuristic ^ that guy through the green phosphorescent CRT with some hexadecimal text backwards on the screen.
retro is as retro does
