Once the explanations were over...
"Orichalcum!" exclaimed Anansi.
"Er, what?" stammered Hank, who during said explanations had stopped reveling in his even greater power, and was now on all four to try and see and hear the others.
He did manage it, which was impressive since his simple head was now bigger than mountains.
Impressive, and very damn intimidating for the others.
Who, although, were just as surprised than the colossal hornet at the weird word.
"The Orichalcum flower!" repeated Anansi. "That's the story that explains what is happening to you, my hornet friend!"
"And what is that story?" asked Maya.
"Actually, "story" is an excessive word, "myth" is a more accurate one. The myth of the Star Flowers. Extremely rare flowers, whose honey possess various wonderful properties. The Orichalcum flower is one of them."
"You mean, this flower's honey makes insects grow?"
"Normally, no. According to the legend, the honey from this flower confers an amazing strength for a limited amount of time."
"You said "normally"," pointed out Willy.
"You pay attention. The myth also states that on very rare insects, the honey instead triggers a powerful growth."
"And my dad would be one of these rare ones?" guessed Sting.
"Yep," replied the spider. "He's a lucky guy, your dad."
The comment brought some laughters.
"Okay, so going back to the reason we're here, how do we bring Hank back to normal?" asked Flip.
"You don't have to worry about that. Eventually, he will be able to control this growth. He'll be able to shrink back to normal by himself, and even to grow again at will."
"So, I just have to wait? How long?"
"Well, there's the catch... You need to wait a few more days of growth."
A silence fell.
"You mean... I'm going to grow even more?!"
"Yep."
"HOW MUCH?!" yelped Hank.
A yelp that, at his size, was powerful enough to almost uproot the entire forest.
"Heh heh..." laughed nervously the spider. "Remember when I said "powerful"? By "powerful", I meant "limitless"."
Hank's jaw dropped, hitting the ground and causing a low-scale earthquake.
"Like I said, according to the myth, you will acquire control over your growth in a few days, but even then, the size you'll have won't be the maximum. For there is no maximum. I ignore if it's an exaggeration or not, but judging to your size after barely two days, I doubt it."
Hank froze in shock. And Flip and the kids didn't feel very at ease either.
"Well... Enjoy the ride!" ended Anansi in forced cheer.
Once the shock wore off, it was decided that everyone would stay at Anansi's tree until the process ended.
Hank stayed in a stunned shock for a good while.
But once the following day came and a new growth spurt struck, making him almost as big as the planet, he decided to follow Anansi's advice and just enjoy the ride.
Which wasn't hard since with that additional size came even more power and pleasure.
And the day after's growth left him huge enough to hold the world, now a marble for him, in his hand, bringing him still more power, still more pleasure...

Unless the last time was so long ago there is no one alive anymore to remember it, and it faded to legend
So long ago as "Precursors who went away / disappeared Atlantis-style" thing.
In addition, the flower is EXTREMELY RARE, and the growth effect EVEN RARER
Hank is indeed the first one since the Precursors
