As Whault rushes the ant facing Smiles, Na'Nfr looks around for more foes, only to find that with the single wounded ant having fled into the darkness, only the one facing Smiles remains, and even as he watches, Whault rushes over to it, his long metal-shod staff poking at the ant distractingly to distract it from the Troglodyte.
Mechanics:
1d20+3=17 vs AC 10: succeed in aid another for defense. Smiles gets +2 next defensive roll

((Crap - GM error. The books are not very clear on this point so I had to do a bunch of extra research - Bonus spells(of which you qualify for!) give you extra spells per day, not spells known. Incidentally, you have 6 castings of lvl 0 spells. You can cast Alter Breasts, Soft Focus, Detect Magic, Slash Tongue and Read Magic as lvl 0 spells. Your lvl 1 spells consist of Lesser orb of Acid, Ray of Emfeeblement and Kelgores Firebolt, which, BTW, seems to be your most effective spell, currently))
