Meck and Skylar were on their way from the coffee place they normally visit, vegan and low-caffeine coffee, due to Meck's choices in food, Skylar was currently wearing a white t-shit and a red hoodie, blue jeans and some tan shoes, his mane was shaggy but well kept, the couple were on their way to the bookstore that Meck worked at, opening up for the morning while the owner was on vacation.

Meck was wearing a dark blue dress shirt, some black slacks and a pair of well polished black shoes. It seemed like he had taken the job of being in charge of the job extremely seriously. "I'm so glad you're helping me out with this, Sky...I mean, I'm pretty sure I could handle it myself...but having you is so much better." He smiled, bumping into his boyfriend playfully.

Skylar looked to Meck, smiling, he held both coffee's while Meck fiddled with a key ring, trying to find the right one on the way. "It's no trouble, I had today off anyway, so the pleasure is mine, especially if I get to spend today with you, heh!"

"I get to show you the classification system I have in place! So, I've pushed all the vapid, terrible books to the back of the store, and I've been keeping selections which I find appropriate for the season in the front." The bat kept trying to find the right key. "Hrm..."

The lion eyed the blue bookstore they were fast approaching, happy that his partner was so excited about something, if there was one way to get Meck happy, it was books and reading.

"I'm kinda bummed how not many people are stopping by our little store...I mean, we are cheaper and have that
'je ne sais quoi' that bigger chains are missing..." Meck picked out the right key and held it firmly*.

Skylar stood in front of the other door and waited. "Well, I coiuld see if I can figure out how to help!"

"I've tried advertising online, but I don't know what else to try...guess I'm out of touch with the crowd, heh." He began unlocking the door.

"I'll figure something out, maybe we could put flyer's up at my job, or you guys can have a new promotion..." He chuckled. "We'll get more people in, no worries!"

"Well, there isn't a lot that can be done for a small business..." Meck reached for his coffee, smiling. "But I really appreciate you being by my side..."

He handed him the coffee and nodded. "Of course, love... now, let's start the day..." Both walked into the bookstore, ready for whatever the day could throw at them.
