The holidays are a bit of a bugger when it comes to keeping up with all the cool things that are going on. Though, you just can't beat the happy spirit everyone is in this time of year either. :)

I'm glad you are continuing to enjoy the tale as it unfolds. The next section will see yet more surprises and give way to even more fun twists-and-turns. Gabby-Gaboo!

Aw noo! Poor Avis. ;O; While I think hearing birdy skuawks are cute, having him get hurt and tortured is far from that. I think I like both him and Espersona! Even if they are villainy (Avis doesn't seem all bad) they still have some very cool sides to 'em. :3

Indeed. In this case, poor Avis is more a victim of psychological warfare on the part of Espersona. Being who she is, she knows exactly what buttons to push to demoralize the king who is already all too aware of his past, but trying to make good of it through his present and future.

The matter I thought about a lot when writing this particular saga in the story was how the reader may be able to feel unsure of what Avis' fate should be. Typically, a bad guy attacks a good guy and it only makes sense that the good guy should win because, well, their good. However, Avis is kind of a bad guy himself when you consider his past and, thus, is there truly a side even worth rooting for here?

Personally, I hope those who read this section come to side with Avis as they realize he has done what so many of us should do. Sure he made a lot of mistakes and sure he did numerous things that may have hurt even those closest to him. However, despite this fact, he decided to do something about it by learning from it all so that he could build a brighter future. As the saying goes, "Learn from the past, don't live in it." :)

Well I think you're doing a good job of that! :3 I figured Avis and Espersona would fight more, but as of now I'm not that sure whether he'll make it out or not. He is trying to make up for what's happened, but seeing how Espersona is, I don't think he can make her happy. 8D Buuut he is setting a good example for sure!
