Second part of a experimental sound piece I originally made in 1991. The second and third parts I didn't like as much; too many repeated ideas and just plain laziness. After relistening to the pieces, I did find, thought, there were ideas that I still liked, so I decided to see if I could take the two remaining pieces and edit together into one piece. While I didn't originally intend to do so, I discovered that if I ran parts 2 and 3 more or less in parallel, with some manipulation and editing, it created some interesting depth and juxtapositions.

The main framing device is telephone sounds recorded in the 1970s, along with the usual suspects of a Halloween sound effects tape, bird calls, a US Navy record, political speeches, old radio programs, and abused storybook records.
