9/28/19: SR CA/NV 88- JEEPERS! It's REALLY windy!! (3/4)
I can say I was acting it out, but SERIOUSLY, at this area, it was OH SO GUSTY! Really, when I was going to wear Cory, the wind knocked my tail off of my hands and I almost lost it! It was because there were clouds coming in from the SF Bay Area-there was no rain, but when it was coming towards the higher elevations, that was when nature was releasing its wrath! You do see in this shot the clouds and that there was lots of blue sky, but don't let that fool you. When I was driving along US 395, more of these clouds came in, and I was earlier and later driving in a mix of snow and rain! Then there were some tornado warnings when I was leaving Nevada along I-80! So with this gust, there was turbulent weather that time! I used to thought in September, there would not be snow especially this early in autumn. Well, I was wrong- in this area, September would go in like a lamb, and go out like a LION- a complete opposite of March!
