Summary: Sequel to "Hero Of Nature". Once every ten years, The Tritos Cycle that is a solar eclipse covers the moon, and during the alignment, The Man In The Moon searches the world that believe in their childhood heroes, and out of those believers, he will select a protector of childhood that is an apprentice to the guardians, and those selected believers will train with their guardians. And with an old threat & new threats coming their way, they will need all the training they can.
Chapter 1
It's been a year since Pitch and The Supreme Queen were defeated and Jaden Yuki aka Mother Nature became a guardian and Jack Frost's girlfriend. She sees her friends every now and then, when she's not busy with controlling nature, and being with her boyfriend. It was 2 weeks after the first day of spring, and North was busy working in his office. Then one of the yetis opened his door, and interrupted his work. "How many times have I told you to knock?!" North asked feeling very annoyed. The yeti spoke again. "What? The sky?" North asked as he grabbed his sword as the yeti led him to the globe. "Shoo with your pointy heads. Why are you always under boot?" North said as he shooed the elves away, and made his way to the control panels. Notrth looked at the sky as he saw a solar eclipse. "The Tritos Cycle." North whispered in shock and amazement. He turned to elves and said "Make preperations! We are going to have company!" He then activated the northern lights to the signal the guardians.
-Meanwhile at the Tooth Palace-
The tooth fairies were busying collecting teeth which contains memories of childhood, and delivering coins as they go. "Chicago, Sector 6 -- 37 molars, 22 bicuspids, 18 central incisors. Moscow, Sector 9 -- 22 incisors, 18 premolars: Uh oh, heavy rain advisory!" Tooth the tooth fairy says as she works hard on gathering teeth. "Des Moines, we've got a cuspid at 23 Maple. Head out!" When one of the fairies handed her a little tooth she said "Wait! It's her first tooth. Have you ever seen a more
adorable lateral incisor in all of your life?! Look how she flossed!" One of the fairies told her to look at the northern lights, and she did. Once she realized that North was calling to her, she flew over.
-Meanwhile with The Sandman-
Sandy was spreading good dreams for all of the children when he spotted the northern lights. He then summoned a dream plane, put on his flying goggles, and drove his plane in the direction of the lights.
-Meanwhile in the woods-
Jaden Yuki aka Mother Nature & Jack Frost were having a big snowball fight, just like they did when Jaden was a kid before she became a guardian. Their snowforts were a good two feet away and they were throwing snowballs at each other. "Think fast!" Jack said as he threw a snow ball at Jaden at a fast pace. It knocked her down, and as she laughed and wiped the snow off her face, she spotted the northern lights. "Hey, Jack! Look!" Mother Nature said pointing at the lights. Jack spotted them and said "Looks like North is summoning us. Let's go see what he wants." Jack pushed his legs and started to fly and Jaden follow him when she summoned the wind below her feet to keep her floating. They then went into the direction of the northern lights.
-Meanwhile in the underground-
As soon has he spotted the lights, Bunnymund aka The Easter Bunny went through the tunnels and summoned a hole from below in the North Pole. When he jumped out, he immediately shivered from the cold. "Ahh, it's freezing!" Bunnymund said as he continued to hop over to the workshop. "I can't feel my feet! I can't feel my feet!"
-At Santa's Workshop-
"Cookies? Eggnog, anyone?" North asked asked the guardians arrived. "This better be good North." Bunnymund said as he arrived and warmed himself up by the fireplace. "Sandy. Thank you for coming." North said as Sandy sent pictograms telling him that he's got work to do. "I know. I know. But I obviously wouldn't have called you all here, unless it was serious." Tooth shushed her tooth fairies as they started to listen. "What's going on?" Jack asked as he and Jaden landed on their feet. "Is Pitch back?" Mother Nature asked. "No." North repiled. "My fellow guardians, it's that time of year again." Everyone except Jaden gasped. "You mean, that The Tritos Cycle is here?" Tooth asked. "Yes." North said. "Um..I don't mean to be rude here, but what's The Tritos Cycle?" Jaden asked. The guardians looked at Jaden. "Well mate, she is new to this & it has been a year since she became a guardian." Bunnymund said to North. "Maybe we can explain this to her." "Very well." North said agreed to that decison.
"The Tritos Cycle is a solar eclipse that happens once every ten years." North said to Jaden. "During the alignment with the sun, the Man in the Moon searches the world for those who still believe in their childhood heroes." "And out of those believers, he selects a protector of childhood that is an apprentice to the guardians." Tooth added. "Every ten years, we have been training them to fight evil, mainly Pitch." "Wow." Jaden said. "Now that you know, let's find our apprentices." North said as he went to the control panels to get everything ready.
-5 minutes later-
"Is it ready yet?" Jaden asked as she approached the guardians and stood next to her boyfriend. "It's axis is recalibrated." North said. "So I say we're good to go. Sandy, you know what to do." Sandy saluted and floated to the top of the globe just as the solar eclipse covered the moon and started to glow a light blue color. Sandy used his dreamsand to make a green Easter egg, a red Christmas present, gold dream clouds, a purple tooth, a blue snowflake, and a pink flower. Channeling his energy, Sandy spreaded the six glowing symbols onto the globe and started glowing in multi-colors with the guardians, the yetis, and the elves watching. Jack Frost and Mother Nature floated up to the globe to get a closer look. They looked up to see the Man in the Moon spreaded the light blue glow onto the globe making it glow light blue.
They waited until one of the dots started glowing gold much to Sandy's delight. Then two more dots glowed. One glowed red while the other glowed purple. Tooth smiled while North shouted "YEEEE-HHAAAAWWW!" annoying Bunnymund. Another dot glowed green as Bunnymund smiled. Then another dot glowed blue. "Yeah!" Jack Frost shouted with delight. Jaden looked around the globe to look for one of the dots glowing pink, but she couldn't find it. The guardians took pity on her. Jaden frowned and said "I guess I don't have a believer this year after all." She descended back to the floor and started to walk away. Jack Frost took pity on his girlfriend and looked at the globe. He then spotted one of the dots glowing pink.
"Hey, Jaden!" Jack shouted to Jaden. "Look! You do have a believer this year!" "What?" Jaden asked as she floated beside her boyfriend as he pointed to the glowing pink dot. Mother Nature grinned with delight and hugged Jack Frost who hugged back. She shivered a little from the cold coming from him, but she didn't care. She finally got an apprentice to train. "Now that we know who are apprentices are, we shall bring them here!" North said as he took out a small brown box and opened it to reveal six snow globes with different symbols and in different colors. The guardians took their own snow globes and threw them on the wall, opening the portals. They all then jumped threw them to meet up with their apprentices.
