I think its going to be temporary but I wonder how the mental regression will effect her memories.Will it impact her more as she is young,too young than the memory so she will view it as a dream or a figment of her imagination or maybe its a permanent regression.Way too many theories.

Permanent regression would be Pandora's dream come true... so I doubt that's happening, story needs conflict! But I'm extra-curious now why FOY water is illegal in this world... maybe one reason is that an extreme minority of people have experienced that?
