“What are you planning on doing to me?” I ask, very uncomfortable about the situation and looking around to see if there is any potential place to get out of here or at the very least protect myself.

“Oh, just this,” she says and pulls out something she had been hiding behind her back and aims it at me before pulling the trigger.

I raise my arms to try and protect myself, half wondering why go to all these lengths just to shoot me with a gun. But when whatever it is hits me, I don’t entirely feel like I’ve been hit with anything physical. It feels more like something was pushed inside of me and is trying to take root in my body. Feels similar to when a ghost pokemon would touch someone, but instead of a momentary shiver this feels like it doesn’t want to go anywhere. Instead it feels like there is a tension starting to build up in my chest. I look over to her and see that she’s put the device down and is staring at me with an intense interest.

“And that’s all I wanted from you. You are free to go now, if you so choose. And I’ll even be nice enough to explain things for you.”
