EDIT: This issue of 3DN has been discontinued and won't be going any further. Sorry for those who enjoyed it but honestly I didn't have much of a clue where I was going with it. I wanted to do something bigger with it and realized belatedly I hadn't planned enough with only solid ideas of who the characters were and no plot. Sorry.

I tried a few things with inking here (namely, putting a thicker border around the character's silhouette to make them 'pop' more).
I hate doing backgrounds though -_- soooo much. I might try a more graphic/design-like approach to fit with the flat colour characters. Not sure, since I might be doing the comics in a softer style later on anyway.
PS... I pretty much eat all of the above when I go camping, but then I go with people who firmly believe that just because you're camping doesn't mean you can't have good food...

He's sorta said himself that it can go either way... Many people put the arm tattoo on his left as well because for the character design he has both (though for this one I only put it on his right arm). The tattoo template he gave me is oriented the way you see it here, which is why it ends up that way on most panels. Either way, I'm not exactly going for comic book award of the year here, it's just a goofy thing I'm doing.
Oh man, I know how the girls feel. I'll eat hot dogs, but only if there's no other option available. I'd love to see someone try to cook ribs over a campfire. Actually, I'd love to learn how to cook over an open flame period, someday. Electric stoves are great, but I'm just enough of a firebug that it sounds like a whole lot more fun. At least they have marshmallows to follow. Those are the most fun part of cookouts.
Actually, I've been kind of digging the fact that you're doing things like telling us a story before you dive into the porny stuff. You can see all the sex you ever want on FA just by idly browsing around, but good stories are few and fare between. I love that you're taking the time to establish who your characters are, and letting us see them hanging out and screwing around, just like an ordinary bunch of friends. That's something I'd like to see a lot more of!

Me an my camp friends cheat, we cook almost everything before we leave, freeze all of it, and then we just heat it up (either over the fire or a coleman stove thingy). I hate hot dogs 8|

Its been a lot of fun. Furry comics can be so hit and miss on the storytelling angle sometimes that I wasn't sure what to expect, at first. But I've been really impressed with what you've done. And I agree that it's better to have a little build up before the sexy stuff. I do enjoy porn, but it's always better if you've got some level of investment in the characters. Especially if there's meant to be some degree of romance between some of them.
It probably would, but as of yet I have no idea how to arrange for donations. Also, part of me wants to keep it a free comic, because it's meant to be something I'm just farting around with, and I worry that if people start investing money in it and I disappoint them... well, you get the idea.
This looks much better than all your latet works, not only the diference betwheen flat colors and brush colors, but it is also very noticeable when you draw "for yourself" instead of working on commision, everything looks much more natural and all the way better. Keep this up, because this is what I expect to see when I see your name show up in submissions. ^^
Storytelling wise, I think you could work on the way to link the pages, somehow they feel like they dont belong to the same storyline, instead it feels like there is a jump betwheen them all the time.
And changing topics... you can actually cook that kind of things like RIBS, or any other kind of meat really well will a portable grill like this http://martingalve.com/MilanDiocesa.....arrillaPIK.jpg we do it all the time over here, it needs a litle bit of setting up as you need to let the fire (or at least 1 fire, and have another for sitting around) turn into ember, and not all kinds of wood will give you a good taste for the food. If they make wine anywhere around you, ask them to keep the vinewood when they cut it, that wood is the best for grilling :)

Honestly, I disagree with you on pretty much everything... I have been finding my personal work the most unfun of everything and I have preferred the results of both the brush style works and commissions over my own.

To be perfectly honest, I'm enjoying the comic for what it is, at this point. While I certainly don't -mind- porn, I look forward to these panels for reasons entirely unrelated to my testicles.
I realize it's your comic and all, and I'm not going to tell you what to do or not to do with it, but personally I'm not even that interested in the sex. There's plenty of it on FA. But fun stories, with great expressions and good humor? Not so much.

Ah hot dogs and marshmellows, the food of kings!.... actualy it may say something about my tastes but that sounds awsome right about now hehe... though I can tell Kana isnt too thrilled, her poor face in that forth panel, s'like "oh man...." *grumble grumble grumble*, Katia too, ive made that face before when camping, normally just after ive seen the total mess I've made of the food heh, yeah I'm not an outdoorsman in any sense, i need my kitchen and utensils.
Still I love the character work and the coloring here, everything seems so... vibrant... I think thats the word im looking for, perhaps because the backgrounds are getting darker, so the characters brighter colors in contrast stand out more, it makes for a wonderful look, and those thicker outlines really do add a very "comic book" look to it, at least to my eyes... also speaking of my eyes, it took me a few seconds to realise that kana didnt have 2 tails in the second panel heh, but instead was wagging, was all set to say something cause i thought id found a mistake and was gonna be all helpful... turns out I was just being dense, as usual XD
ugh I'm rambling again, I really like this page for the coloring work, oh and just one last thing, don't worry about taking the time with the porn side of things, maybe I'm in the minority here but I'm in it for the character work and story, not fap material heh, I know I'm deffinatly in the minority when I say even if there was no porn in the comic at all I'd still love it.... and once again I'm going on far too long, my bad, just keep doing what you do best (your art that is, in all its forms) and I will keep enjoying it ^^

One mistake people make when camping is they don't stock enough non-perishable complex carbs. Bread wouldn't be considered such, because it's easy to go bad or get riddled with bugs.
Spaghetti is a good choice, because it packs in bulk easily and can be cooked with little supervision. Capelli d'angelo/Angel Hair pasta in particular is great for camping, because it's so thin it cooks really fast. x3

There's nothing I adore more than camping. Be it going to a reserve or parkland with a car and lots of supplies, or leaving it behind to trek on with a backpack with enough to last you a few days comfortably. <3
And yus! You can even be flexible with what you boil the water in. You can have a canned lunch, especially if you have a few people, and then wash it out and use the can for cooking the spaghetti in so it's not wasted weight. Little things some people seem to forget when they go camping!

Using a Dehydrator to dry out the beef mince, and using powdered tomato etc to make the sauce, is also a good way to make spaghetti bolognese kits that will last a long while without cooling. Then it just takes a little practice rehydrating the meat while boiling it for the pasta. x3

I don't think I've ever gone camping and NOT had spaghetti and meatballs. We have a lot of coolers to keep perishable foods longer. We also usually marinate the ribs and keep them in ziploc bags, then just reheat 'em over the fire. None of the foods in the comic are foreign camp foods to me but maybe I'm spoiled XD
Dry ice, although a little funky to deal with, does wonders with a little practice in putting inner walls in the cooler so the dry ice doesn't just freeze what's in there. Although it'll only add a few more minutes to cooking time if frozen.

Porn? God, I really hope there won't be. I've gotten so sick of seeing that walking bundle of red ego-inflation. Why are the eyes black, why, what is the purpose and how is it supposed to make sense. Why can I not turn a corner and see yet another commission of this guy banging a furry character that he's not partnered with, be it by finding it everywhere on here or being shown this crap as if it's a deck of trading cards for his own ego.
How am I supposed to believe that the Hyena that wanted to grope her was worse than this guy? Same motivations, just this abomination is more sneaky about it, and willing to pay a lot of money for it.

That's how our dogs are, we trained them using hot dogs, now if they smell hot dog on you, they won't leave you alone until they've licked every last taste of hot dog from your hand and face, or until you wash said areas.

The porn can wait. This is a really good comic and it really doesn't need to progress into that state. A gradual flow like a stream is how I see this story at this time and makes it more interesting since it gives the chance of showing character development and personality quirks. I feel that you are doing a wonderful job as it is and that you should keep your flow just as calm.
