“So what now?” the pikachu asks as she stares at her gear and pokeballs.

“Well, we can provide our protection to you for the rest of the night if you want. We’ll have to find a good spot to stash your stuff until morning though. Sadly your pokemon won’t be healed until the morning. Because I don’t know about you, a place that is swarming with trainers is not a place I would consider a good idea to be, even if they would somehow let you in and heal your pokeballs without a trainer present. Because right now you are just a wild pokemon as far as they could tell and would reasonably assume you just stole everything.”

“I suppose.”

“Can we get something to eat?” Maria asks.

“Yes, that is our next destination. You can come too, but you’re paying for your own food.”

“Sure,” the pikachu says before going into their backpack to grab a wallet as Maria uses her abilities to hide all the rest of his stuff behind a rock and covering it up with dirt and whatnot to make it less visible. It’ll definitely chaff for him to wear it tomorrow, but then again he did end up tearing his shirt up anyway, so it’s not like it would really affect how well his clothes are anyway.
