That puppy was always gonna be the end of me... Secretly this was the whole reason Star had a dog. When I was first hashing out the storyline for Shine back in...2013....jeeeeez.....This was one of the first plotlines that popped into my head, so finally getting to it almost a decade later feels kinda surreal.

My fur and feathered friends were always "pets" and they were more than family to me, but they were dependent on me and my mom for proper feeding and care.
I agree with the work and them trouble makers. One time one of our lovebirds decided a $20 bill was the perfect thing to shred and put in her nest XD.
The doggos just need food, walkies, brushies, and trips to the veterinary .....just . But I wouldn't trade a minute of them.
Only thing my head doesn't fully digest are non-sentient felines and canines in Furry worlds. How'd they not make the cut?

Point of order: I DID suggest this last week... That Elly (the character) had been blameless and Fiona was the culprit.
Though while I wonder a bit at Elly letting Star know she knows, I can see that Elly would not want to keep secrets from her best friend.
Star, on the other paw, has reason (as shown before) to keep this from Elly.

So fee did what amy normal dog would do when finding a diaper when there in the chew everything they like stage. Fee you little monkey still hope elly is accepting of stars kitten side. Doest have to do anything like change her but is accepting and has done some reasearch and doesnt judge poorly.
I'm nineteen years old a decade ago I could have still be wearing nightime diapers I wasn't but I could have! I mean still wetted the bed every so often back then. And even back when I was like 3 and out of diapers I was already honing a little side, the psyche is amazing in those regards.
I mean I had an incident which it was when I was 3/4 years old I found some of my old diapers that were pull-ups and hide one of those inside my bed to put on on the night I never used it and put in back in the hidden spot in the bed but I remember doing this and feeling good when having that. Probably even back then I was already feeling like an outsider of everything anyways my mom found them throw away the diapers and scolded me for whatever I can't seem to quite recall the fallouts of when people found my diapers.
Omg no that is literally me, bro I hate admitting it cause it sounds weird that at a really young age I was slightly into abdl without even knowing what it was 🤣. I remember one night my parents asked me if I wanted to sleep without a diaper but I wanted to sleep with it still so I said "I think I still need it" (I was like 4-5?) Eventually they convinced me to not wear it though XD but still 👀

Though the embarrassment on Star's face will make it obvious; if a "vanilla" was doing an event like that, they wouldn't have gone all quiet and blushy, they would have just said, "Oh yeah, I'm doing this event on base. No big deal. I'll go put that stuff away. Sorry about the mess Fiona made."

Well you gotta take into account that probably most of everyone here has been in this situation ,with of course most of them not really going well,& being berated or embarrassed by there parents , siblings, roommates, lord forbid coworkers or boss.I mean I was in tears when I was a kid & was forced to throw it all away because it wasn’t normal, but the tough part about it was I saw where they were coming from (& I still love my parents by the way so back off trolls). In a weird way though I apr what they did because it was all a big learning experience for me not to steal because let’s face it when most of use where kids we all probably smuggled at least one Daiper. So all in all I wouldn’t be nearly as responsible as I am today if it wasn’t from that.
I am really glad that it was that way. Elly was super likable this far and I wouldn't have wanted a reason to dislike her.
And before Star says anything about the base event, she should look what type of paper is next to Elly. The Flyer? Manda's letter? The websites?
My guess would be that it is the letter. The websites could end up doing more harm than good considering how they freaked out Star. Not the best first impression.

Sure sometimes they gave questions, but it does happen that normies can be supportive.
If she's truly her best friend, she'll playfully acknowledge it's weird and move on.

I'm not usually the kind of person to be outgoing enough to even put in a comment on something especially like this, but I felt like i needed to express how thankful I am that you've stayed so committed to this, reading this makes me realize I'm a lot like star in many of these scenarios, that i think similarly about my little side, and wish that one day I'll be able to start something like this. Thank you because the story of this little Lynx makes me feel better about scenarios where others made me feel like it was wrong to be happy.
I'm just going to say it, it is such a damn shame that this won't get seen by some people because of the adult baby thing. This is such an intricate, deep, very emotional, and beautiful story, that actually gives this Kink the justice it needs to have, and it's such a shame that people will see the adult baby thing and get instantly afraid or turned off or otherwise have their view of this story sullied. Star you have done an amazing job on this and I cannot thank you enough for what has happened, and I'm SO excited to see what will happen and how the story will end.
No one's getting hurt or forced into this. People are turned off or afraid of what they don't understand. They're quick to judge because they want to feel morally superior even though deep down, they are empty themselves. There are some people that HAVE to wear diapers due to circumstances beyond their control. I don't judge these people because I myself would want understanding if Iwas in this situation. I would have a problem if that person was FORCED into that situation by an overbearing parent or authority figure. If they were FORCED to live as an adult baby, I'd have a problem. as long as they're OK, I'm OK.
After reading the latest couple pages, I thought of something and had a very important question to ask, and so I had to go searching and I finally found my answer. We DO still have Elly's cat China around, in the very first panel of this page, lying in the chair, all sneaky in the background. Silent and doing it's own thing, just like a cat would...
