I think I saw that the floorboard had a small hole in it. Puppy could have gotten a claw in there, or if it was balanced on a floor joist, maybe she pushed down on the right spot and it just didn't seat back the right way. Or given that puppies dig, she could have pawed it open some other way.

That's at least three ways that she could have gotten in there, but none of them are malicious. Just innocent puppy playing.

Alright everyone just take a deep breath and calm down. Both parties are feeling guilty and blame each other. Elly thinks Star is angry at her for snooping and Star thinks Elly is mad at her for being weird. But if the two just keep talking it out and make their feelings known everything should work out.

I'm genuinely surprised how many people think a dog can't dig up a loose floor board. Our Labrador used to do all sorts of unexpected crazy shit if she was bored enough. And fee witnessed star using the secret floorboard hole so knew there was something down there to be played with
