I was on the infinite-canvas kick back in '05 and seriously wanted to make a really long, monotone comic based off a song. I didn't get a lot of responses concerning it cause Internet Explorer doesn't (didn't?) allow images that were 30,000 pixels high.
It's not very good art, but I always liked the design for it.

Simon and Garfunkel... or, if you prefer, Rush.
For some reason, Temples of Syrinx was the first thing to come to my mind on seeing that quote, rather than either attributable source.
"Weve taken care of everything
The words you hear, the songs you sing
The pictures that give pleasure to your eyes
Its one for all, all for one
We work together, common sons
Never need to wonder how or why
...
Look around this world we made
Equality our stock in trade
Come and join the brotherhood of man
Oh what a wide contented world
Let the banners be unfurled
Hold the red star proudly high in hand"
Odd, innit?

Was recently reminded of this by some people arguing over whether the acoustic or original version of the song was better. "Neither," I thought. "Rickgriffin's comic is the best version." This is still one of my favorite pieces of art, period, even after all these years. Thanks for keeping it up.
