Unfortunately, the situation down below has gotten much worse in the meantime. One of the trainers has decided that the one they were using was so precious to them that they had run forward to try and shield their own pokemon with their own body. The other trainer has dropped to their knees. They still have another pokemon out, but they are using a different one from the one they were using before. This is very obviously a sense that they know that there is no possible way that they can win this fight on their own, their best pokemon being beaten down and quite likely their lives will be devastated. I can only imagine how distraught I would be if someone stole Maria from me. I would definitely try and do everything I could possible do to try and save her. Though I suppose in all likelihood, I will be experiencing it soon enough. The only difference is that she’ll still have a life to live and the potential for her life to be restored to her. If I fall here, there will be no return to my former life. As nice as it’ll be to be able to have my body full time, the fact it’d be with Rocket is not appealing to me.
