Karin is adjusting to her Deific ascension with an ease I've not seen in eons. Even for an Arcanine- a species renowned for their legendary loyalty, kindness, and charity- she has proven herself to be a supremely worthy goddess for her realm. When she has intervened in the flow of nature, her actions have been fair, wise, just, and, most importantly, few and far between. She is inexhaustibly friendly and helpful when her assistance is required, but willing and eager to allow mortals under her care to learn and develop for themselves. We didn't even need to ask her to visit mortals frequently to avoid falling out of touch with the life of non-deities: one of the first questions she asked us was if she'd still be allowed to interact with them! But, then again, what else could I have expected from a Pokemorph whose IV nature is literally 'Benevolent?'
Her powers are growing more rapidly with every day, yet her control remains impeccable. She is pushing herself to master her new strengths so that she can become a better goddess. I find her particular focus on safe mortal-goddess contact to be very reassuring, as it reaffirms her interests in power are benign.
And, although it really has nothing to do with my evaluation of her development as a fledgling goddess, I must admit that seeing her puppy-like affection for all of creation is truly heartwarming.

rabid of a character whose story I really need to finish and post already. Karin here is obviously an Arcanine, and just as obviously not just any old Arcanine. She was selected by the Æsir family to serve as guardian goddess for her home universe, and eventually perhaps some of the neighboring universes around hers as well.
So, have I ever mentioned that I love Arcanines? Because I love Arcanines. I reeeeeeally love Arcanines. They're gorgeous. They're massive. They're stripey. They're elegant. They're powerful. They're legendary. They're kind. They're loyal. I could go on, but I've already probably lost most of your interests. Suffice it to say, Arcanines are far and away my favorite species of Pokemon.
Karin here is all those traits that make an Arcanine amazing, cranked up to eleven, and then cranked up to the eleventh power. She was an impossibly gentle, caring soul from birth, but her ascension has given her impossible beauty and power to match. She's literally capable of altering reality at her whims. Fortunately, she's a big softie in more ways than one. No need to fear for that building or anyone in the streets- even when she stops to take a nap surrounded by the bustle of a living city, she has more than enough control over her powers to keep passersby entirely unharmed... Although they may be momentarily delayed if she decides to cuddle.
